[Kal's audio post is short, and to the point. In his world the chance that someone would gt to know Superman and Clark Kent at the same time and they didn't already know about his secret was minimal, and even then he'd worked so hard to keep those aspects of his life apart it wasn't a conscious act anymore. He could play little tricks to make sure no one could get a decent image of him, even.

But that's harder to do in here where everybody got to meet Kal-El and Clark Kent at the same time, and the number of people who could actually be Superman was limited. Thus, he has to be more careful.]

I'm making this post to offer my help rebuilding those houses that were burned to the ground or somehow affected by what happened on that night. My name is Superman, and I'd of course not require any payment, at all. I'm afraid the materials aren't a thing I can produce- but this is not a momentary offer, any time anyone needs some help rebuilding their houses I'll be happy to lend a hand and use my powers to help.

[Well, that's said and done. He then pauses... and sighs.]

And second, a question that's less urgent. I'd like to know if anybody knows for sure what happens to those of us who... disappear and are nowhere to be found on the turtle. And if you have theories about it I'd like to know about them, too.

[That's... clearly the voice of a man who's lost someone recently. Losing what was for a while the only remains of your family, again? Never gets easy.]

[Kal thinks, scratching his chin. He's looked up at the land from high up as he flew so he has a pretty good idea of the landscape.]

Metal and Wood are the best sectors for that, but anything in this place is connected to the turtle in a way. I'm not sure if that's an inconvenient?

[Septimus hums thoughtfully for a moment. This is not even remotely how he'd build, given his druthers and in Alera. But then, he also isn't an architect...]

As long as there's some way of transporting fairly large slabs of rock and a way to have foundations prepared before. It'll go faster. Maybe even reach more sectors. I'm no construction expert, but I can provide walls.

[An eager nod from Kal] I can transport those easily, that will be no problem at all. Anything you're willing and able to do will be a huge help, trust me.

[Well that's an interesting response. Also a little entertaining in its eagerness.] I'm at your disposal, then--although if you can spare it, I could use a night's sleep. I just got here.

Sep. [Pause. Then, skeptically:] ...Superman? Really?

Of course, take your time. And don't feel forced to either, even though any kind of help would be much appreciated.

[He nods] Yes, really- but if it helps I didn't really pick the name myself. It just kind of stuck.

Give me a day or two to replenish my energy, then, and I'll be at your disposal.

Titles have a way of doing that. ['Title,' not name.] Though very few people I know have chosen their own names.

I can do that. [His body is like a solar-powered battery, so he gets the energy thing.]
