07 § video
You know what I want? A pizza. For those of you who are familiar with it, I just realized how long it's been since I've actually had a good pizza, and it's almost criminal. For the rest of you, you don't know what you're missing.
You think we can get a pizzeria started somewhere?
And while I'm thinking here, is anyone really that uncomfortable? It's not so bad once you figure out the secret to it.
[The smile he puts on is deliberate and smug. It's the kind of expression he gives when he knows someone else wants him to have a bad day just so he can ruin their plans. Or maybe he's just trying to piss someone else off. Who knows?]
Want a hint? Here's a hint: When is a door not a door?
[Locked; encrypted 30%]
"Ajar" doesn't sound like "a jar".
[Locked; encrypted 50%]
That's not even the answer I'm looking for. But this is the next clue.

M must be for marshmallow. And we all know that marshmallows aren't that intimidating.
The answer is adaptation. The riddle was just for fun. Also it's when it's ajar. [No it wasn't. It was "code" or "back door".]

[At least not usually. That said, he's at least got the advantage of time spent in this place on his side so he at least ought to impart something to this guy.]
But yeah, I have some stuff back at my place. Probably not as extensive as Tony's but it'll do in a pinch. [Still, it seems like an odd thing to focus on, out of everything here.] What exactly are you looking to do with all this technology.

I'm also working on a database to start compiling the skill sets present here so we can try to figure out our strengths and weaknesses, as much as people are willing to voluntarily admit anyway, but I want to make sure the database is totally secure before I even begin to start asking anyone for information they're willing to have stored on a system.

[To the latter, he shakes his head a little.]
I was an FBI agent and my brothers were all in the military. I guess my parents raised us to be public servants. [He means that sincerely, a certain earnestness present in his tone.] I was trained in technology and personal securities. So yeah, I like having information, but it has more to do with the fact that I don't have too many other skills to offer and even less when there's no suspect on the ground. If what people are saying about being here to fight codename Lucifer is correct, then I want to do my part.
