One of the kedan had offered to show Skulduggery how it worked, but he’d politely declined. He didn’t particularly feel like being saddled with a guide for the entirety of his time here.]

[This does, of course, mean that he can now be seen. He was a little concerned about that when all of this was first being explained to him, but then he saw someone walking around in the city with blue skin and two heads. He’s rather less concerned now.

If you have any questions, I haven't been here for long but I'd do my best to answer to them. And yes, he could- that's why he was called the 'blazing' skull.

[He pauses for a moment, which can be unnerving when it's difficult to tell exactly why he's paused, and then he holds up his hand and snaps the fingers. A small flame ignites in his palm.]

[Jim looks at the flame in the screen a bit, smiling to himself as if laughing at a private joke. Finally, he sets his own face on fire.]

No, a bit more like this. He liked to set his own face on fire, it's where the name came from I suppose.

[He decides not to mention he can do the same thing, and then some. Skulduggery may be dead, but there's something about setting one's own face on fire that crosses the line even for him - and this is taking into account the man he once met whose face was inside out.]

I can imagine how that might be useful.

[Skulduggery counts himself very fortunate that he didn't get assigned a suite built into a tree. He's fairly sure he'd go insane from not being able to use his powers in the one place he's meant to call home.

Not that he ever spends much time at home, anyway.]

Not at all. It's relatively common, yes. About a third of the world's sorcerers practice Elementalism, which is what this is a part of.
