Oh, I see. And you want to know how that's possible. [He shrugs.] Magic.

Most people do. The ones who don't believe in its existence tend to be the ones who ask anyway. [He pauses.] And sometimes keep asking, hoping the answer will be different. It's fascinating, on occasion.

It's... not all that different from what I'm used to, honestly. Apart from the war. And we did have our own war for a while.

[The only thing really throwing him off is that everything looks vaguely Chinese.]

Well, no. But it's not quite as strange as I would have thought. It's not as though we're continually diving underwater.
