Video;

[She's been a little quiet as of late, but try as she might to ignore it, this is something that she needs to say. Sarah takes a deep breath and asks her question, in a somewhat small and shaky voice.]

Has... anyone seen my Dad? He's um. His name is Joel. He's an older man, dark hair and a beard. Wears flannel and a broken watch.

[This is harder than she thought it would be. Sarah pauses to take another steady breath and calm herself down.]

Ellie too. And Tess. I can't find any of 'em.

[She fidgets, eyes downcast.]

Julie's quiet too. And Bro and...

[She's just going to cut the feed there. There's way too many people she cares about gone.]

I don't know.

[It wasn't that she never paid attention. It's that the disappearances had never impacted her so strongly as the day she saw the kedan emptying his suite. The air had been drawn from her lungs, and she had momentarily gone pale.]

People were commenting that there's been more than usual the last few months. And Damian...he'd been here a long time. Longer than me. Longer than Ellie, even.

Home.

That's where everyone says they go.

[People who had no reason to lie about such a thing.]

[Because she was dead.]

[Midii wanted to lie and tell her that must be the case. It would make her feel better, wouldn't it? But, first and foremost, she believed in telling the truth. She owed it to the people she cared about, and at the moment, she owed it to Sarah.]

Eponine and her brother...they were dead back home. They still left.

[Maybe it would have been better to deliver the news in person, but what's done was done and she couldn't take it back now.]

To Heaven, hopefully.
