[Even though the security of the consoles still couldn't be guaranteed...today, Midii wasn't all that concerned. She had no confidential information to share. Nothing that could be used against her...again...if only because he wasn't on the Turtle.]

I was in the market, and I...um...overhead some of the kedan talking. [She may or may not have been playing detective again shh.] They said today was a holiday called Father's Day. It sounded nice.

I never had a chance to celebrate anything like that back home. I haven't even seen Papa in years. I...could I even still celebrate? And how?

Just find some paper and something to write with. That's usually a good start.

I can do that. [He taps at his chin.] Did you and your dad have something you liked doing together? That might be something good to write about.

He used to read to me, when Mama was too busy taking care of the twins. Or play chess. Or... [She hesitated at the last one.]

[She was. Her cheeks weren't, though. They were starting to take on a strange...pinkish color.]

He tried to teach me to dance, but I wasn't very good then.

[Well that's adorable.]

I'm sure you could dance circles around me even if you're still not that good.

[Unless they're doing that standing in one spot and waving their arms around kind of dancing.]

I doubt that.

I'd been getting better when Damian started to teach me more...but then he left.

[Her smiled briefly warmed even more, then faded. When she mentioned the twelve-year-old's disappearance.]

Ah, so that's why you never learned about puns. Assuming, that he was the same person...

[She didn't mention a name before, did she? Hm.]

And don't doubt it, I'm not really much of a dancer.

He was. But I don't get what one has to do with the other?

Uh, I guess nothing. But yeah, dancing! Maybe you should write about that. It could be nice.

He'd probably laugh if he realized I could keep time to the music without tensing up every five seconds.

[He can't help but break out into a smile at the thought.]

Sounds perfect. I mean, I don't know your dad personally or anything, but I'm sure he'd like to hear about that.
