Hello. I was wondering if anyone listening knew about the stories of the Great Turtle swimming the 'lines of light and life'? During the landfall, I found a library that mentioned this and I didn't think much of it at the time, but I went to meditate at the Great Turtle's head this morning and saw a path of light on the water in front of it. Has anyone else seen that before?

[Aang is so excited about this that Momo even flies in for a look at the communicator screen.]

Yeah! She was in this forest of giant mushrooms! If it wasn't so hot, I'd try to get her out of the courtyard of the house. But honestly, it's better for her to keep where she can stay cool.

That makes sense, Momo isn't moving around a whole lot these days either, and he can fly which usually is a great way to cool off. What does she eat? Maybe I could bring her a snack?

She eats grass and other plants. Sometimes fruit. I'm not really sure what's safe for her here, so don't bring treats just yet. I need to let her test some things out in small amounts first.

I didn't even think of that. I've just been letting Momo eat whatever he wants.

It could be? I mean, I know a lot of stories, but I don't know how entertaining they really are. Most of them are legends I learned from the spirits of the Oasis.

My dad had dozens of those. Of course, he was a performer by nature, so he had a talent for capturing his audience's attention.

Oh! And I've only been able to see it when I've been meditating and trying to practice letting my spirit walk the way Aang told me I should be able to.

She's my Mula.

[Actual troll face. But she does make a mental note to introduce them since Wan's big on animals. Even more than she is.]

So it's some kind of spiritual path. [For her, that's worth investigating even if it involves mediation.] Well, I haven't been up there in a long time...

You can come join me tomorrow. I think it will be easier for me to focus on now that I know it's there. I can show you how to find it. You can bring Naga and I'll bring Mula. She'd like to meet another catdeer.

I've flown over the turtle's head before and never seen anything in the water... were you doing something at the time?

I was meditating, trying to let my spirit wander from my body. I'm still learning how. But when I was opening my mind to the spirits and the world around me, I could see a great path of light shining over the water in front of the Great Turtle. It was beautiful.

That sounds amazing. Bruce taught me how to meditate but I was never as good at it as he was.

I don't think you have to be that good at it to try. And besides, you're a spirit. You should be able to see the world beyond your physical self pretty easily. Most spirits can as far as I know.

A literal path of light? In the water? [He's seen weirder, but it's still something that sounds so much like a metaphor that he has to check the man is actually being literal. ]

Can everyone see it, or only those with specific abilities?

I'm not really sure. I was meditating when I saw it. Do you know how to meditate?

[He frowns. That was ot the kind of ability he'd had in mind.] I know how to relax, but I am not sure that will be enough.

Maybe, if it doesn't work you could show me how?

Sure! I haven't shown anyone how to do meditate, but I can at least try.

I'd like that, I haven't met anyone who actually meditated, so it might even be instructive. And we might find out what this path really means.
