I met another who said he could talk to ghosts and there was a woman who said she had a spell that could keep ghosts out of our suites but she'd have to do the spell in the place itself or teach us the spell...

Maybe you could give the conversations a look and see if they're anyone you think could be trusted. I don't know them at all.
