[When the video comes on, Yue is looking quite baffled, and with good reason. Her hair is being combed, though she's not the one doing it. It seems like the haunting of Keeliai has found its way over to her suite, too.]

I'm just going to go ahead and assume that I'm not the only person this is happening to. [She glances behind her as a broom comes sweeping into the background of the video.] This has been happening since I woke up today. The, um. The hair-brushing was actually what woke me up at first.

One of them won't stop making tea, too. I've... lost track of how many cups they've made so far. [Seriously.] They're very helpful, though I'm wondering how long this is going to last. It's a bit odd knowing I can't go anywhere or do anything without something I can't see watching me or combing my hair. Or anything else. [The thought of using the bathroom is a very, very strange one right now. Do not want spirits watching that, thank you.]

But they've been very nice, and I don't want to be rude by telling them to go awa-- [She pauses and looks at something off-screen.]

What? No! Don't throw that out, it's still good! [And she's just going to get out of her seat to stop whatever it is. The comb stays behind, floating awkwardly for a moment before whatever is holding it decides to follow after Yue.

... The broom just keeps on sweeping.]

[Kitty is trying her hardest to not laugh.] Have you tried asking them to tone it down?

I have. It... doesn't really work. In fact, they seem to respond by doing even more.

I'm starting to wonder if they're doing this to spite me.

If that's the case, at least they have a sense of humor?

I suppose so, though I'm not sure how much I can appreciate it right now.

You could try to wait it out by staying with someone else whose suite is less haunted.

That's a possibility, though I don't know if they'd stay here or follow me. [Hm.] I guess I could check.

Nothing wrong with seeing if it works. [And, looking at the overly fastidious haunting happening in Yue's apartment,] Even if they follow you, it'd spare your belongings in the suite.

That may be true, but if they follow me, I wouldn't want them bothering anyone else. I mean, the cleaning is certainly useful, but they can be a bit stubborn about it.

I think I'll try and see, though. Just give me a moment. [Yue gets up to leave, and... everything promptly follows her. It's a couple of minutes before she returns.]

... I don't think changing suites would help.

[So much for helpful advice. Kitty bonks her head against the desk, at the view of everything following Yue out like baby ducklings following their mother.]

She looks apologetic when Yue returns.]

No, no, it's all right! It was certainly worth a try, after all!

[ Olivia looks a little exhausted, and there's a faint sobbing coming from somewhere in the house or outside, but her suite's otherwise fairly quiet from what's visible on the screen. ]

Do they seem to be aware of you? ...obviously the one with the comb is, but do they respond to requests...?

[She comes back, a little bit out of breath and a little bit messy.]

They're... they're definitely aware I'm here. They don't seem to like when people aren't fond of the way they do things. They don't respond violently, but they're very stubborn. [Playing tug of war with a spirit to try and make sure they don't throw out a perfectly good pot of stewed sea prunes? Yeah, that ends in a lot of mess and splashing.

... And then the comb comes back, along with several damp towels and a new change of clothing.]

To be perfectly honest, I don't think they care much about my opinion as long as they have an excuse to clean something.

[ She arches an eyebrow as the comb-wielding spirit returns, and may be trying to hide a smile. She's sure it's not amusing when you're the one dealing with it, but from her end... maybe just a little. ]

I see. If they're that determined, I doubt asking them to leave would do much anyway...

Well, there are worse problems to have... though I certainly understand how annoying it must be for you.

It's frustrating, but it could certainly-- [Whoops towel wiping across her face.] It could certainly be worse.

[ Yeah, the smile is escaping despite herself. ] If it helps, it seems to be city-wide, and the kedan I've noticed don't seem too alarmed by it. With any luck they either have a way of dealing with it or expect it to pass before too long.

I should hope so. As long as they don't go beyond... this, I think I should be all right. They're frustrating enough.

Well, look at it this way. That's less housework to do, right? They just need a little...training.

[When Yue responds, there are several damp towels wiping off some mess on her face and clothing.]

I know. It's definitely helpful, and it's not that I'm ungrateful, but... well. Earlier today they followed me into the shower and tried to help me clean in there, too. [YUP. 8|]

It's just starting to feel a little ridicu--ow! [The comb pulled through her hair a little too hard that time.]

Unfortunately, I'm not really an authority on spirits. I don't know how you reprimand a ghost.

Neither do I. I think it's just a matter of waiting things out or seeing if they get bored.

Well that's... interesting. At least they seem to be friendly? Make sure to ask for help if they actually try to hurt you, miss...

[He's seen plenty of weird ghosts, and after Blackest Night... well, he knows how dangerous the undead can be.]

I'll be sure to, though so far the worst they've done is tug my hair a bit too hard while combing it. I think as long as I just let them keep cleaning and... doing whatever it is they do, things should be all right. [Though it'll be weird knowing she can't really have any privacy while they're here.]

Let's hope they stay doing just that then, can't say I'd oppose to them doing some of the chores around the house but it's still dangerous since we can't control them.

Well, they haven't felt the need to try and work with any knives yet. [Poor attempt a humour? Poor attempt at humour.]

But really, so far they're just an annoyance. As long as they stay that way until they leave or... whatever else, then I'm sure I'll find a way to deal with it.

Have you managed to talk to them? Or even see them?

I haven't seen them, and they don't actually talk back to me when I speak to them. When I try to engage them, they usually just respond by either doing or not doing something. Or they ignore me.

At least that means they understand you in a way? That's something. Ghosts aren't really my thing so I'm not sure what we're supposed to do in these cases.

Thank you. They've been very... enthusiastic about the hair brushing, so I'd hope it at least looks good enough.

Maybe they are curious about your hair- it's not a common color, at least not where I'm from.

It's not common where I'm from, either... well. It's not common on a younger person, at least.

Exotic then, but I wouldn't know if it is for the Kedan as well. They can shape-shift after all.

[Asami comes over with an arm full of pastries she picked up on the way. Since she mentioned tea, but tea is usually best served with other things. Annnnnd knocking on your door, princess.]

[And Yue opens the door! ...Her hair is still being combed, and that broom is still sweeping.]

Thank you for coming, Asami. [She steps aside so she can come in.] Please, um, make yourself at home.

It's no trouble. I'm glad to be here.

[She steps into the room with a little bit of caution, takes her shoes off by the door and then sets her bag of pastries on the table.

Okay, this is a little bit odd. Poor Yue.]

All I had to deal with was one rattling around in my stove.

Oh, that's not so bad, I... um. [Yue will just. Awkwardly gesture to Asami's side. There's a comb coming for you, gurl.]

[She catches it with those ninja-like reflexes of hers.]

Quit that.

[Her tone is quite firm, almost maternally scolding. The comb quivers for a moment and then the pressure exerted upon it ceases.]

I think they're just lonely more than anything.

That might be it. Either that, or they just miss having something to do.

[She watches that broom sweep across the already-polished floors. Could it be boredom?

Maybe.]
