[Tazendra looks like she's sleeping better, and thoughtfull]
I recall that there were certain masters of unarmed combat who took students. I would be interested in lessons.
[Tazendra wasn't so good at this fighting without killing anyone who stood in her way thing.]
Also, does one know a weaponsmith who crafts practice blades?
[A wooden sword could still do a lot of damage, but it was lighter and less likely to slice someone open.]
It also occurs to me that in a month, I will have spent two years in this place, and it is less than three months until the new year. I found the date of my arrival on the turtle -- that is, the date in the calendar of my home Empire -- in a book during one landfall.
[OOC: If anyone remembers, Tazendra actually arrived in the spring, and she isn't taking into consideration that Konryu's days are 6 hours shorter than Dragaera's. Coincidentally, this means her new year is close to the one celebrated by many other foreigners, despite being a spring equinox holiday in her native country.]
