[ Vergil was walking along the Water District when he started to broadcasting from welcome center radios he had gotten some time before. He had never bothered with the network before he was reawakened, but now he spent a bit of time listening when others speak. Today he chooses to speak. He has been idly far too long. ]

Greetings people of Keeliai, Foreigners and Native alike. My name is Vergil, many of you knew my brother, Dante. [ He expects a joke to be made soon, it always is.] My point for addressing you is I know he had his fingers in many things. I was not in a well state before he was spirited away. I would like to know, if anyone would come forward and tell me if you knew him, and just what he was doing. I am trying to piece together a puzzle. This is all.

By vanished, do you mean he was killed, or returned to your world of origin?

You did, When we first met I did not have the full set of my memories. It is a long story, but I am complete once more. Vergil is my name, I had lost it and now I have regained it.

[ He explained in return. It was hard to explain to those who were not involved in the whirlwind of bad choices made when Dante vanished.]

I would assume the latter, Someone would have found his body by now otherwise.

[Oh, one can't just imply an event of great significance--particularly one involving memories--and not expect her to be interested.]

Unless he were to have been placed in the ocean, you are correct. Returning is the more logical assumption at this time.

[ A dark edge took his tone, then faded after her final words.]

If you mean in Keelai, then I currently have many functions.

Primarily, I have focused my attention on instilling relevant knowledge in the local population while simultaneously educating the locals on any technological information they may be lacking.

I see, that is very helpful indeed. I did not realize there was much of an interest in such things. This makes me think you may be the best to inquire about where one might learn to read the language of the Kedan.

There is no one specific location at this time, as public lessons have not--to my knowledge--been announced.

However, it would not be unreasonable to assume that asking one of the locals who runs literacy stories might be of assistance in that matter.
