Has anyone seen Sokka recently? I... I haven't heard from him in some time, and I'm getting worried. [Correction: She is worried. Very, very worried.]

He has dark skin and blue eyes like me, brown hair that's tied up in a wolf-tail, and-- [She gestures a little awkwardly and stretches her hand above her.] He's about this tall.

If anyone has seen or heard from him, please let me know. [Yue has her suspicions about where Sokka is, but... better to check. In case he really is still here, and hasn't actually gone home.]

[ WELP. There goes one more non-bender that doesn't outright hate him. And really he liked Sokka in his Councilman days.

Well-aware Yue isn't his biggest fan right now, Amon call her up anyway. Dangerous terrorists get a little homesick. ]

I haven't seen him anywhere in the residential part of the sector.

[Yue has been wary of him since finding out about his identity, but she doesn't dislike him. She can't bring herself to do so.]

Neither have I. I've tried looking around other areas, too, but I still haven't been able to find him.

This isn't the first time this has happened.

It's not. It's... it's better this way, though. He still has things to do back home, after all.

We all do. [For her, it's Moon Duties and Lunar Goodness.] It's something that will have to happen to all of us, I suppose.

[That doesn't make losing someone hurt any less, though. Especially since she's now the only one from her time.]

[ It was still all so surreal. It had only been a generation past since Tui became synonymous with Yue. A time after that; a life after that when he was Noatak, and he prayed to her by name. And prayed often. ]

Sokka. He has a life ahead of him, and I have seen it myself. He will do much for our world.

[That's part of what makes everything so odd, honestly. Everyone here knows her as the Moon Spirit, and only got to know her as a person afterward. Sokka already knew her, and saw her for herself, and not just what she would be in the future.]

I'm glad. Sokka is a good person - he'd always have something to offer the world.

So I've been told; I never knew him personally. I hope you realise that you're letting the others lead you into a false hope looking for him.

Yue isn't entirely sure how she should answer that. Could this be a false hope? Most definitely. But she'd rather be certain, more than anything else.]

Maybe it is, but I'd like to know for sure. If there's a chance that he's here, or if he's gone back to our own world... I'd rather know for sure, instead of leaving it to speculation. There are others here who are better at searching than I am, and if they wish for compensation, then I can pay them. That way their efforts won't be a complete waste if he's returned home.

I just... I want to be certain. Instead of spending all my time wondering if he's really gone, or if he's only stuck somewhere else.

I suppose we could, but this isn't the first time someone has... disappeared. [There is a chance he's here, yes, but it's just as likely that he was sent home.]

I'm glad to hear that. At least we know how things will turn out, though I don't know if people remember what happened here when they return home.

Oh, well... he lives near me, in WA-1A. He's also very interested in weapons and science. And he likes shopping, too? [Hopefully that'll at least be a good starting point.]

No, not as far as I know of. Not here, at least.

Do you know - where he likes to go?

He lives in the Water Sector, so he would have spent plenty of time there. And he's interested in weapons, science, and shopping. So maybe a smithy, or the markets, or somewhere like that?

Neither have I. We were meant to meet up earlier, but if he's left -- [ he frowns because seriously, this whole leaving business seems a little haphazard and without warning. ]

If he's left, then he's gone back home. Or at least, that's where he should be.

If he's gone home, then he might be lucky. He won't have to worry about so much anymore.

Not necessarily. But... if he remembers what he learned here, then maybe things will be a bit easier for him.

There's a war going on in the time we're from. Sokka is... he and his sister play a big role. They're accompanying the Avatar as he goes to learn all of the bending forms.

I'm sorry, Yue. [ he really is. he knows all too well about the consequences about being in a war. but he's not dwelling on his own past for too long ]

Sokka has a brilliant mind, I'm sure. Whatever role he's got to play, I think he'll be doing it spectacularly.

He does. Thankfully we learned that everything will work out in the future, but... there's no telling how easy it will be for them all to get to that point until it happens for them.

He's managed it once already in someone's timeline, hasn't he? It'll be about as easy or as hard as it needs to be for him to get to the end.

That's true. And whatever happens along the way, at least I know how things will end.

Yes. The first person I ran into when I was brought here was someone from my future. There are others, as well.

Sokka was the only one here who was from my time, but... even then, he was still further along than I was. What happened to me was already in the past for him, and everyone else. [But at least Sokka still knew her as Yue, and not just the girl who became the moon.]
