Today it is Father's Day where I come from. A day to celebrate the father or father-figure in your life, usually with a gift or a card. Just a token of your appreciation, ne?
It's the first Father's Day since I learned I had a father, so I think I'll try to celebrate it even if he isn't here. After all, they say that it's the thought that counts! Hopefully my good thoughts will reach him.
Oyaji-sensei! This afternoon you have to come explore Atoce with me, okay? Salty air is good for balancing out seratonin levels and accelerating the body's ability to absorb oxygen, so it will make you energized and relaxed! So it will be fun and beneficial to health!

So once he's finished letting himself feel sad that his family isn't here, and that he likely won't ever see them again, Akito bustles off to track down his professor.
It doesn't take long, because for all that Callaghan is apparently a very innovative mind, he doesn't innovate new places to hang out very often. Akito finds him in the third place he checks and doesn't bother announcing himself - just makes sure to be loud enough that his presence isn't startling. ]

So, the strongest Storm Riders of their specific Roads are the King or Queen of it, but there are only eight Roads that you can earn the title of King or Queen from! Ah, well- Recently the number shifted, since the war finished, but! The core Eight Roads all have one thing in common: their fighting style relies on manipulation of the atmosphere around them. They each also have their own Regalia, which is the sign that they are the King or Queen of their Road. Only the strongest have those titles!
I was the Fang King of Bloody Road when I was eight, and passed the title to Agito later on. Since I have my Regalia here and no Agito, I'm the Fang King again.
[ a pause. ] I also have the Thorn Regalia now, and know how to use Sonia Road, so... I guess I have taken over Gazelle's old title of Thorn Queen too?
[ Eh, whatever. ]
Or... The simplest explanation for this would be that I earned the title of one of the strongest Storm Riders in my world.

How do you think I've kept myself safe since I got here? I had to take up my title as Fang King again, and paved my path with blood during the war.
