[And it doesn't take very long to reach, considering the shortcuts on the rooftops Arno's found. A few kedan noticed him along the way, but mostly, they're used to him now, and shake their fists less enthusiastically than they used to. A few of the children even seem impressed and clap if they spot him coming by. At any rate, he's arriving at the cafe in question relatively quickly, then looking for Shay, or a spot in the dimmer areas of the cafe where they'll not be noticed. Whatever this is, it does seem businesslike.]
[Shay is already there, indeed, in the dimmer part of the café he'd chosen. A mug of tea is in front of him, steaming away as the Irishman seems lost in thought...
[Shay admits, ignoring the fact his Eagle Vision has just triggered randomly once more, though there may be a slight clenching of his fist. He's used to the side-effect, ever since his soul gem was recovered.
Arno still shows as red; as the enemy.]
I have a charge. You may know of him. Deon Wilson?
[The tall, lanky young man who actually found Shay's gem.]
Exactly, yes. What's a day without something to loot or spy on, right?
[The tone is light, more a jest than serious, though Arno pauses, watching Shay's fist there. He almost wants to ask, but the man seems fine otherwise.
He'll keep a closer eye than usual, on him, then. He probably owes Shay that much, considering the consideration he's been granted, and hasn't exactly returned in spades yet. Damn those moments where conscience decides to come out and prick at him, though. That said, he's all action as he...rather slowly nods.]
I believe I've seen the man in question on the networks at least. Rather scientific? A bit obsessed with something called caffeine?
[A slight smile, there. He thinks of Deon rather fondly, after all.]
I owe him my life. You may recall he was the one who found my Soul Gem. [He fiddles with his cup.] It seems he may be in danger. Something I can't keep ontop of myself.
[He'd seemed a likeable enough sort, and the Soul Gem on top of it...it's easy to see this is important, and Arno nods at that, frowning at the mention of danger there.] Danger of what sort? And how can I best help, then?
Of a man from his own world. Seems this brute tried to kill him because of his pride being wounded.
[Shay leans against his elbows on the table.]
I've been trailing the man, keeping an eye on him, but I... I can't seem to keep on him at all times, for some reason. A bit of help in staying on top of him would be appreciated.
[Sadly, it's a motive that's not unfamiliar to Arno as he'd like. Too common, really. He nods as Shay speaks, wincing a little anyway.]
And does he have the means to produce much of a danger to him here? There might be ways to think around some of that if so.
As for trailing people? I can do that. I'd love to be of use, in fact. It feels like it's been too long. Have to sharpen my skills somehow. I may as well do someone some good while I'm at it.
You were able to track me. That isn't something to be brushed aside, Master Dorian. I was trained an Assassin, too. Believe me, you're worth something, else I wouldn't be trusting you with this task.
I thank you for the compliment. [There is a grateful nod of Arno's head there.] There is something in using the skill again though that confirms it, more or less, that makes me feel as if I am DOING something, instead of just... [Arno waves a hand absently around the room, like that's much helping.] Well. Some direction is helpful, instead of floundering. I feel like there's not been much chance to really APPLY our skills here. Any chance that's not TOO deadly is a good one.
[And, okay, probably some of the other sort too, but Arno's not going to SAY that one out loud. He at least knows people don't do that sort of thing and that normal ones don't feel that way.]
[Radio] Similarly Locked
[then Arno's tone is changing to a more serious one.]
Whatever it is, I can be off on my way?
[Radio]
:Radio] to [Action]?

[Action!]
...But not enough to look up as Arno approaches.]
Thank you for meeting me.
[Action!]
I feel like I should be thanking you. For the action. What exactly are we looking at, here?
[Action]

[And a smile, there.]
You're preaching to the choir, sir. I forgot how much it makes me feel... alive.
[Action]
[That's curiousity in Arno's eyes right THERE. Oops?]
Alive, yes. As if I were still...This sounds depressing, I apologize, but still WORTH something, no?

[Said in the tone of a man who misses the action, also. Greatly so.
The thrill is something you can't replicate.]
I thought it would be best to ask you. A man who appreciates the art as well as practices it.
[Action]
It really IS different and growing used to it though you can, it leaves things lacking.]
That does just about suit me, yes. I'm glad you did.
[Action]
[He reaches across the table to shake Arno's hand.]
Let me know if there are any issues?
[Action]
Indeed we do. And I will be sure to.
A pleasure doing business with you, Master Cormac.
