[Pepper sounds on edge, concerned, although she's trying to hide it.]

He's unconscious, but I think he's okay. Can someone come help me move him? Please? Like, now?

Right, uh...

[There's a moment of sound filled with scuffling, while she pulls out her Stark phone and pings the armor; it can do scans to assess Shay's condition. It'll be helpful for carrying him, too, since Pepper isn't exactly made of muscle.]

I've got something on the way. I'll call Raine if he needs healing... he mostly just looks a little frosty. Like, literally. There's snow on his coat.

...is the weather unseasonably chilly?

[She didn't feel cold, so that would mean her scanners were...wrong?]

No, it's not snowing here. I don't know about the seasons though.

[She hasn't been here long enough to know if seasons were a thing, given that they were living on a giant but mobile turtle.]

He's been gone for a few weeks. I think... I think he might have gone back home, or maybe into the Dreaming, I don't know. The snow definitely didn't come from here.

[They were...sort of a thing, depending upon a lot of factors.]

Has he shown signs of hypothermia?

[Pepper takes a moment to recall what she can about symptoms of hypothermia; she had looked them up when Tony had headed to the ice base for Whitney.]

It's hard to tell for most of them, since he's not awake, but...

[Some shuffling can be heard.]

His pulse is pretty steady. He's not shivering, either. The armor can tell me if he's got hypothermia for sure. It should be here any minute.

[Nods on Aya's end, even though Pepper would not be able to see over the radio.]

Those are both positive signs, at least.

What of the temperature of his exposed skin?

Colder than mine. Not icy.

[Noticeably colder, but not enough to be scary. She can see the armor on approach.]

I'll know exactly in about a minute.

I had several emergency medical procedures installed in my database long before I was first brought online. With the proper indicators, I can inform you of precisely which measures to take to ensure maximum recovery.

[About a minute and a half later, once the Rescue armor appears and she has it scan Shay, she reports back to Aya.]

He's got some heavy bruising and his core temperature is 96.5 degrees. No hypothermia, and no broken bones, thank goodness. We're gonna take him to the Morrigan.

[If she had breath in her, there would have been a sigh of relief.]

I am...glad.

Do you require any assistance in the move? My green lantern energy could produce a sufficient gurney on which to transport him.

I think we'll be okay. Between the armor, Arno, and Deon we should be able to move him without a lot of trouble.

[But if that isn't the case, Aya will be the first person she calls.]

Thanks for keeping an eye on us. Or an ear, I guess.

[About thirty minutes later, once they've gotten Shay to the Morrigan and worked on warming him, Pepper picks up the radio again.]

We're on the ship; Shay is still sleeping. Do you want me to let you know when he's awake?

[looksfine]

[And because Aya is Aya, she received the transmission almost immediately.]

Has his condition otherwise improved?

[lasergrenades]

Well... he's moving around a lot in his sleep, so he's probably not having very nice dreams. But he's moving. [If that counted as improvement.] His temperature is starting to come up to normal, too.

That is...highly comforting to be made aware of.

Thank you. And no. If he is mobile and warm, then I do not see any further need to be alerted again. Unless the unexpected should occur.
