[Console/Video] He's back? Kind of?

[When the video feed starts, a few might recognize the young man who appears. Though there's something a little off about him. He looks a little older, his hair is a little longer and...what is that he's wearing? Instead of his usual Fire Nation garb that he arrived with yesterday, he's now wearing something very different. A black shirt with a flame pattern, and while it's not really seen in the video, also black jeans and sneakers. Plus there's a pair of sunglasses perched on his head since it's sunny today, and a Water Tribe style bear claw necklace around his neck. His hair though is pulled back into the traditional Fire Nation top knot and that scar is still the same.]

 Hello, Zuko here. So I'm kind of new, but this isn't where I'm supposed to be. I was supposed to go home. I mean, this place doesn't seem all that bad but there really has to be some kind of mistake. 

[Yeah, sure, he's been to the welcome center. He's gotten the whole introduction, but Zuko is still in a bit of shock here. This wasn't where he was expecting to end up after taking the trial.]

Maybe this is some kind of trick, or another experiment. I don't know. I'm just so confused. Does Luceti even mean anything to anyone? Or is there anyone else around here who has wings?

[And with that, Zuko turns around. There's a couple slits in the back of his shirt, from which a pair of wings is sticking out. They don't reach much farther than his elbows, certainly not big enough to fly with, and they're red with black tips on the primaries. He hasn't seen anyone else with wings yet, but if he's here, then maybe someone else from Luceti is here too? ]

I think so. They told me about it at the Welcome Center. I'll see you there.

[So Zuko will cut off the feed so that he can go find their meeting place.]

Given that it's Yuri she's running lunch to, he'll probably beat her there, but she won't leave him waiting long. With a rush of powerful white wings, she lands just outside the hotel and look around for him before she'll head in, not wanting to miss him. Though she might not find him first, it'll be obvious that she's the one coming for him.

Fortunately for her, there's an adorable baby Kedan peeking between her wings over her shoulder, and Zuko's likely to get a big smile from her first before Dove even knows he's there.

Zuko is just standing a bit awkwardly in the lobby. He had changed into these clothes so that his wings were more easily visible for his network post. As he hadn't found a place to stay yet, he still had all of things with him, including his bag, belt, and weapons. The kid looked armed to the teeth with his swords, knives, and even a boomerang. And is that a fox tail dangling off his belt? Yep. He looks a bit weird and mismatched between the clothes, weapons and water tribe necklace.

It isn't long before Zuko catches sight of the lady with the big wings. There is a moments hesitation before he walks over. A smile given to the baby Kedan that peeks at him.

"Hey," he greets casually.

At his greeting, she turns and offers him a bright smile, shifting her hold on the little Kedan. "Hey! Zuko, right? I'm Dove." She reaches to shake his hand, and then realizes he's weighted down with... a lot of stuff. Blinking, she she straightens a little, and shifts her expression to that of an apology. "That's a lot of stuff... If you want to, I'm sure they'd let you keep it here while we walk around, unless you'd rather find someplace to stay first," she offers. "I can help you with that, too, if you'd like."

It's not that much. Not really. Just a bag and some weapons. Though really he does look like he's traveling somewhere. He nods though when she says his name and smiles a little when she introduced herself. He doesn't much like the idea of just leaving his stuff somewhere though, not until he's decided on a place.

"Where else is there?" Zuko asks, not really knowing any other place than this hotel. So far it was the only option presented to him. But if Dove knows of any other places, he's certainly open to considering them. He would like something a little more private.

She bites back an apologetic smile at his hesitation; she understands. She wouldn't have wanted to leave her things just anywhere either... if she had actually come in with more than what had been on her person.

"I actually lived here for a while when I first got here," she explains, shrugging a little and patting the baby on the back. "Anton--he runs the place-- is great, and the rooms are really nice. I live with my boyfriend in a house in the Sky sector, now, though. A lot of foreigners live over there, too."

She had to smile a little wider when she realized his eyes were a golden color too. And the wings... well, she wouldn't openly call them adorable, but she could most certainly think it.

"The Sky Sector? Where is that?" He certainly looks interested and might actually prefer that over living in a hotel. It's not that he minded living with other people but... He had lived with his friends in a house together band he kind of preferred that.

Zuko smiles at the little baby as well. "What's her name?"

"It's not too far from here," she beams. "We can go there first, unless you'd rather do something else instead." It definitely wouldn't be a bad place to start, especially if he wanted to be around more foreigners.

She studied him quietly for a moment, her train of thought shifting when he greeted the baby. "Aveline," she responded, giggling softly as the little girl cooed and waved her hands at him.

"Sure."

It was nice that she was trying to hard to help him. He hadn't really been expecting it from anyone, honestly. While the welcome center was great, he was discovering that the Foreigners here were not as close knit at everyone in Luceti had been.

His attention then went back to the baby.

"That's a nice name. Is she yours?"

"Then follow me," she told him, heading in the right direction. She laughed softly at his question. "Sort of, for now," she explained, kissing the little girl on the head. "Yuri found her one night; she had been abandoned, so we've been taking care of her ever since."

And Zuko followed after her, not seeming all that burdened by the stuff he was carrying. He was used to having all the weapons on him. And the only other thing was a bag, which didn't have all that much in it really.

"Oh... is she one of the, uh, Kedan? Yuri's your boyfriend?"

He could only assume as much.
