[She frowned, leaning a little more into the screen. Of course, there was nothing for her to see, but it was the sense of...the physically closer she got to her radio, maybe she could better make sense of what she was hearing.]

So it was either a prank they're pulling--[Which she was willing to believe, given their temperament at times]--or...what? A ghost? A vision?

Considering the fact that it happened half an hour ago, yeah, I'm pretty awake.

[ Of course someone was going to throw that question at him and he's not really going to make an effort to hide the sass in his tone. ]

I dunno if it's a prank-- my, uh, powers kind of make me immune to illusions and stuff. But a ghost could work, I guess; don't they mess around with electric appliances and stuff? A vision could be a good explanation, too, but...

But why do something like that? And who?

If you'd been sleeping, then maybe... [But, no, that was impossible. They'd only ever communicated via Dreams. That she knew of.] But there are people here with...strange powers, right? It might have been something like that.

You said they didn't say anything, but did they...do anything? Gesture at all?

Gesture? [ He takes a moment to think back on the occasion. ] Nope. Just stared at me with those big eyes. It looked like it was trying to see through me, or something like that, but it didn't do any gestures.

What it did do, though, was turn every electric thing off when it disappeared. That's why I'm saying that maybe a ghost could be the reason, but don't they usually stay because they unfinished business or something?

Or it could be telepathy. Like...an image projected directly into your mind. The brain waves used for something like that could have interrupted the electricity around you.

[Still no idea if that was even plausible or not...but it wasn't not plausible. Maybe.]

Telepathy....that might be a good explanation, too... [ He's somewhat familiar with the idea too, considering the Casters back at home, but it's still ????? ] If the brain waves get interrupted through touch, then that could have caused that power outage, right?

Or well, I don't know. I'm not really knowledgable about psi stuff. [ If Black was here he could ask him but that isn't the case. ] Are you?

I...used to know creatures who would communicate telepathically.

Actually, the giant turtle we're on right now can, too. Or, at least, he used to...before he fell into that coma.

[ considering that he came in once the Turtle fell unconscious, he knows very little about him pre-coma. ]

Was there anything else that he could do, pre-coma wise?

He could swim. [Though that one seemed a little obvious.] We've traveled all the way to the bottom of this world's ocean before; the turtle shell had this sort of...protective barrier than kept the water out, and us breathing down here.

I know we're been drifting aimlessly for a long time, and there was the threat of sinking without that barrier, but I can still remember when we went wherever he wanted and decided to go.

Wow...[ It's kind of interesting to listen to this; how the Turtle was before he had arrived. Underwater travel on the top of a living giant turtle continent? It seemed like something from a child's dream.

Leo kind of wished that he had arrived there during those times. ] And he just...fell into that coma or sleep thing so suddenly? I actually don't know the story about how that happened so...if you know, maybe you could tell me about that?

If you want to know why he fell into a coma, I don't know. Not exactly.

Malicant...had done something to him. Something magically, I suppose, that involved taking over his mind. When we defeated Malicant, I think we all thought it would free him up, but...when we cam out of the Dreaming realm, he was in that coma. For a while, people even thought he had died.

Wait, but I thought the whole thing with Malicant had ended like two years ago. Do you mean that it's been comatose this whole time?

Yes.

[Not the strangest thing to ever happen here, but still very much the truth.]

People have been trying to help him. I know a few have even been able to reach his mind. I don't know how...magic, I suppose...but we haven't given up. He still needs us.
