Hello!  I've been thinking a lot recently. Lots of people have told me about how magic works around here. But I'm curious. How many people around here have been trying to see why things happen around here with science?  

For example, has anyone looked at the dust with chemistry or forensics?  Has anyone been tracking which items from home are found and what time they were first spotted?

Ah, they're fields of study where I come from. Chemistry is a branch of physical science that studies the composition, structure and properties of matter. Forensics is the application of science to criminal and civil laws. Someone who studies forensics collects, preserves and analyzes scientific evidence in aid of investigations.

Those are useful occupations. More often than not, crimes go unsolved in my world. [But she tries to do her best to get down to the truth. Most will not lie if they are faced with a Dragon or two.] You would be considered a Maester in Westeros.

Do you have any detectives in your world?

I do not know of any with that title, though the profession might be something guards and advisors do on a daily basis.

They are those trained in a variety of arts in the cities. Each one is given a chain, emphasizing what arts they have learned.

Where I come from, a detective is someone who seeks the truth. Detectives work with the police to make sure that criminals are caught and sent to see justice done for their crimes.

A useful profession, but forgive me, you seem rather young for it.

For a job like that, isn't it better to start learning it young? At home I spend a lot of time assisting adult detectives and police officers.
