[ Sheena's smiling on everyone's screens, but there's a questioning glint in her eyes. ]
I know there are different festivals and holidays here, but I was wondering if anyone was familiar with Thanksgiving and Christmas?
Or if you had similar holidays of Thanks and Fellowship this time of year?
[ Could she be planning something? Maybe. Maybe not. She was going to have to talk to Raine first. And not just about having a dinner party. Perhaps it's time for Sheena to find her own place. ]

Okay, that makes a lot of sense! [ She pauses. ] I take it there are sometimes stronger "currents" in the Solar Rail that try to steer you off course?
And is that why some trips are shorter? Because of stronger currents? Or just because of distance?

Mostly distance, even if it's a slight abstraction in terms of distance in Void Space versus distance in real space. The towers were built to be accessible.

Slight... Oh, you're referring to what you said earlier, about the two distances being different in the Void and in space. [ She shakes her head. ] Like I said, we had teleporters, and while I don't understand completely how all of this works, I think I have the general idea.
[ She thinks. ]

It's alright, I don't fully understand the math involved either. Ordis handles all of the navigation and calculations for my ship.

I hadn't even thought of the supply ships! That's a normal tactic to weaken your enemy. [ She sighs and shakes her head. ] Sorry, I have to keep reminding myself to compare the Void to water.
[ She chuckles. ]
Well, as long as there's someone who knows, right?

[ She pauses before chuckling knowingly. ]
Let me guess: he likes keeping busy, and the more things he has to do, the happier he is?
