So, um, wow...
This is going sound incredibly stupid on both counts, but would anyone mind lending me some advice on a couple of things? It's nothing really personal, it's just I'm having a little trouble with a couple of small things. (A breath, calm yourself, calm yourself.) Okay, so for starters... I need to look for a job. I used to work at the cat cafe, but that's gone now I think. So, I was thinking of something that I would like to do. And I kind of think I wanted to start a business again. I used to do that. A scooter rental shop in my own world and in another place I was at I ran a consignment shop...
I think if I was going to do that again, I would want to start a bakery or something like that...
(She might even be smiling based on her tone of voice now.)
What kinds of things would you want to see sold? How much do you think I should charge? Should I think about doing something else? What's setting up something like that going to take? What am I missing here...
(Oh, right. She has to ask about this other thing too.)
And now for the second part...
Does anyone know how to build those really cool, big pillow forts? I thought it would be something fun, but I'm having trouble even keeping this little tiny fort upright.

Tape. Or glue.
Aren't those the best way to keep a structure from falling apart?
Re: audio
(Maybe? That might work in places. But she can't agree with the glue, not without finding more things to add to the fort with. Maybe if she found some old items that no one cared about, but most of the pillows and blankets she had swiped seemed to be too nice for that.)
I think. At least some of the time. I don't want to wreck my housemates things, though...
audio
[It was just plain common sense to her.]
Tape or glue or...hmm... [She heavily pondered over this for a moment. Architecture wasn't her strong suit, but she had read a few things over the years about it. And watched the construction sites of a few buildings go up in Keelai.] ...something solid to better support it. Poles or beams. They can be made of pipes or wood or maybe even plastic, if the fort isn't that big.
Re: audio
Marie tends to let her emotions get the better of her on occasion.)
I just got excited...
(When that second idea was pitched, Marie found herself having a moment of "!!!!" because that might just do it.) Why didn't I think about that? I should take a look around and see what there is...

You should make a list. Figure out what resources you have available, and what you might need to go out and buy.
Most anything, you should be able to find at one of the Wood Sector shops.
Re: audio
A list. (She nods.) Yeah, that's a really good idea. I should do that. Write down what I don't have, at least.
One of the Wood Sector shops, huh? I'll have to try there if I can't find everything around here. Thanks!

And good luck with your pillow fort.
Re: audio
I suppose I'll have to let you know how it turns out.
audio
[Lies; she absolutely was curious. She didn't have much experience with pillow forts and couldn't help wonder how it would come out.]
Re: audio
(Marie was going to share it anyway. Regardless of any protests or bored, disinterested stares.)
So, I will.
audio
In that case, I can't wait to hear all about it.
Re: audio

...unless you meant creating a video about the process itself. I'm sure there would be a few people who would find that interesting. Maybe they could even learn something from it.
