So, assuming I got my months right, we just started a new year!

It's a big cultural celebration where I come from.

Does anyone have plans? I was thinking of trying to make a party. We usually celebrate on the first New Moon of the year.

Anyway, I'm not entirely sure how to approach this yet. I probably need to settle on a particular scale, and a venue.

Well, the venue would be dependant on how many people are going to come. Are you inviting only Foreigners, or kedan as well? That will give us an idea.

I'd love it if the event could be city-wide but I think we may have already missed that deadline. Events like that take months of planning, not a couple of weeks.

But... I mean if we really want to get ambitious, I guess it couldn't hurt to plan something on the old palace grounds.

I think anything worth doing is worth doing properly!

The old Palace grounds... in the gardens, you mean? They're pretty, but it might be cold at this time of year.

I don't know if there's any large indoor spaces for this kind of party.

Usually we just bundle up.

Hm, that is a good point. Any place large enough surely has already-busied uses. Well, gardens it is!
