Console | Video | Hotel Announcement
Good evening everyone. It has been some time since I've made use of the console, but I would like to express my gratitude to Kedan and Foreigners who came together in the aftermath of the hurricane.
While much work remains ahead of us, it is important to reflect on our accomplishments, and the difference we can make standing together.
Our Kin'nal friends have also chosen to stay in Ioa Elanog, and I would like to bid them farewell, and wish them the best in building their new settlement.
I also have an announcement with regards to the hotel. We are currently looking to hire on new staff. If you are interested, there are fliers in the lobby listing available openings.
The greenhouse has also been repaired, and cleaned up and is open to guests to use. Given the shortage of perishables, it may be wise to grow your own. I'll be heading into the Wood District tomorrow to see about getting some fruiting trees for the courtyard as well.
Thank you, and I wish you all well.

I'm glad the Kin'nal have found a home they can settle in. I know it was much tougher for them to stay it out here.
Video
They did not seem well-adapted to the fluctuating weather - I hope their new home is stable for them.
Video
Me too. They can have a better life, hopefully.
Re: Video
Video
Yeah! She's my girlfriend.
Re: Video
Then you both have my congratulations.
I'll try to schedule break times and days off so they align then.
Video
That's really kind of you, Monsieur, thank you!
Re: Video
I'll add you to the payroll and adjust the schedule so that you can start your training in a week. Does that sound agreeable?
no subject
That's great! I'm looking forward to working with you.

So he grabbed a flyer the day before, and he's taken a little time to look it over.]
Hey! Still need a bartender?
[It sounds fun, and it sounds pretty easy. What could possibly go wrong?]
Re: video;

[This doesn't sound even slightly sheepish.]
But I get the general idea, and I can learn.
no subject
[It's not like they serve actual alcohol.]
...You have, at least, been to a bar once or twice?
no subject
Oh, yeah. A lot more than just once or twice. The ones here seem a little different from what I'm used to, but like I said, I can learn.

Midnight Hotel
Hello. My name is Sonja, I came to inquire about the administrative assistant position you have open.
[ Bookkeeping wasn't exactly on the same scale as nationbuilding, but she was good enough at it, and she needed the money. ]
Re: Midnight Hotel
[He gestured to the seat across from his desk.]
- Make yourself comfortable. Would you like some tea?
no subject
[ She takes the seat, as directed. She's confident but also nervous, so her hands are fidgeting a bit. ]
no subject
Please, help yourself.
[He returned to his chair, folding his hands on the desk.]
Do you have prior experience to working in this sort of position?
no subject
I was an intelligence analyst back home. Data management is kind of my thing.
I've also been working at the shelter doing bookkeeping work for the last couple of months.
[ She opens the tea canisters one at a time to smell. ]
Very aromatic. Do you mix these yourself?
no subject
I do.
[But back to the subject at hand.]
That is a considerable task you had prior to your arrival here.
[A skillset he'd look for more in an employee for Libra than the hotel really. But the basic gist was the same.]
Will you be continuing on at the shelter as well, or will you be looking to take on a full-time position here?
no subject
I will be continuing at the shelter, although I was looking to make it more of a volunteer job than a paid one to not put it out as much as I am. Honestly it feels wrong taking what little I am paid, considering that Brigid hardly leaves me any work as it is.
no subject
That's understandable. Is your schedule at the shelter fairly consistent? If you give me a copy, that would make things easy.
no subject
Yes! [ She starts writing out a chart. ]
Ah, what language would you prefer? If we share any common ones, that is.
no subject

[ She started to fill out the chart in both English and Japanese for ease of use. A few hours most days in the morning. ]
I can alter my schedule as necessary, I'm not needed at any particular times.
