That is a sampling of the 'Red Dust'

This is fish blood-it's all I've been able to test it on but the results are interesting enough. Add it a little to the dust.

So, we have an unidentified organism inside the dust-or several organisms trying to stabilise. Your thoughts?

He frowns as he reviews what he knew about parasites. It wasn't lot. Parasites were not particularly likely to be used in murders, so his studies there had been rather cursory.
"To survive, a parasite needs something that only a host can provide, correct? Have you determined what that is yet?"
