A couple of things:

Firstly, I'm wondering what people have against one of the oldest professions? Yes, yes, I understand how young I am, but really is that your only objection?

Secondly, I am looking for a hand to hand sparring partner. While my sword skills are impressive, I'm afraid that my hand to hand has gone to the way side. I find that... unacceptable.

[ Her beating had brought that home. But she's not mentioning that. She adjusts herself in front of the console, wearing that ridiculously fluffy robe that she loves. Of course it's white. ]

I'm a Gem. [She taps the gem on her forehead.]

I take it you don't hail from Earth?

[She rolls her eyes.] Obviously. I'm from Homeworld. I was only stranded on that dumb planet before...being sent here.

That dumb planet is home for quite a few of us here, darling. Please don't insult it.

[Peridot eyes her warily.] That planet caused me so much trouble, and I got poofed there thanks to those stupid Crystal Gems! That's why I'm here in the first place.

Well, I admit, Earth is a bit of trouble, but... It is home, darling. How would you like people to call Homeworld 'stupid' all the time?

[peridiot]

[Peridot folds her arms.] They wouldn't, because Homeworld is the best. Nobody would even dare.

Ah, so that's it. Only Gems are allowed to think their home the best?

[peridiot]

That's because it is the best. Objectively. We're the most powerful race, so we're clearly the best, which means our planet is the best, too.

If you were the most powerful, how were you trapped?

[peridiot]

Because of those stupid traitor Crystal Gems! They blew up my ship and left me stranded, and when I tried to leave they poofed me! And that's why I'm here now!
