Some of you may already know, but for those of you who don't. I am moving out of the Midnight Hotel. My friend, Wan, built a house in the Sky Sector, near the gardens, some time ago. That's where you will find me from now on. [A short laugh] I can't vouch for the cat though, he has a mind of his own.

The main reason for this is so I can be closer to the KPD and the Iron Circle, when it is completed. With that in mind, you may have noticed that I have not added anything to discussion regarding the Foreigner's Guild. This is because I have decided to join the Guild of Justice and Arbitration, [As was only fitting for the head of the KPD], and put the sponsorship of the KPD under its control.

It has come to my attention that the laws here are not always easy to uphold, [recent events had made that very, very clear]. But hopefully this guild system will be good for all of us.

The kedan apparently do not have an issue with her decision and, to be honest, we know very little about the law they are used to. It is important that we not allow our own cultures to get in the way of theirs.

And her decision is to persecute the victims in anyway seen fit? I'd hardly call that justice. However, what the law decides what to do with a criminal after I've handed them over is not for me to decide.

What exactly is to be done with the victims? I'd like a few volunteers to run some tests on.

With all the hubbub lately, it seems you could use another set of hands. I'm not exactly a paragon of justice and virtue, but I know my way around finding and detaining people.

I can make a more formal inquiry when you're a touch less swamped by the quandaries of interdimensional law, however.

Having someone who isn't confused by the concept of morality, might actually be useful right now.

I can't say I'm terribly familiar with the exact letter of the law around here, but I'm a quick study.

My resources regarding law have recently expanded. I'm sure someone in the Guild would be happy to bring you up to speed.

I already have two deputies, but I do need someone to help me with the Cultist task force.

It was a reference to the American Old West - forming posses and going after bandits and duels at high noon with revolvers. Very silly stuff. If you need someone to hunt cultists, I can do that.

I am familiar with the American Old West. It wasn't exactly like the movies. Hollywood tends to exaggerate and romanticize.

Agreed there. That's a whole new level of suicidal, honestly. I'm glad to hear it, though. Things have been...tense lately.
