It has been brought to my attention that I've been working too much and need to be more spontaneous.

So that's what I'm going to do.

Starting later this afternoon, I've decided to take a spontaneous vacation.  Just for a couple days, of course--I'm not that irresponsible.  Don't know exactly where I'm going, don't know what time this weekend I'll be back.  But I wanted to at least give you all a heads up in case there was something you needed first.  I'll have maps and the latest updated pamphlets on the counter.  The doors to the main area will stay unlocked, and the Wards I have up will take care of the rest.

Otherwise, speak now,  because I can't exactly lug the network console with me to the beach.

No idea. If they don't, then they should get on that. Can you just imagine the revenue someone could make from such a unique business opportunity?

I'm not sure what kind of paid beach services you could provide that the miles of untarnished other beach couldn't provide.

I guess food services would be nice.

Not everything has to be practical. So long as it's still fun.

[Zatanna was probably one of the few people who wasn't getting destroyed by the heatwave. Mostly because, due to a lack of wanting to have to mop her poor boyfriend off the Center floor, the air conditioning had been...shall we say magically cranked.]

You should ask Tony if he has any left. He knows his way around frozen dairy treats; Pepper sometimes stops by with a couple cartons of gelato, and they are so worth the inevitable sugar crash that comes later.

I never made it, but I assumed there it was extra difficult since it's way more expensive than normal ice cream.

I think that's because it takes longer. You have to churn it slower...or something like that.

[It had been a while since she'd made any herself, but she vaguely recalled the subtle differences between the two desserts from her childhood.]

They both have about the same ingredients, but use different amounts and a different milk to cream balance. Geltao's supposed to be less fatty, so I think it uses more of the former.
