[Rin is broadcasting from his room, and aside from a few scrapes he seems to be fine. He's absolutely livid, though.]

What the hell was that all about?! What's with this "anti-foreigner" stuff all a sudden? And after everyone went on and on about how great this city is! Yeah, some city where people wanna kill us for shit we can't control! I mean, I'm pretty sure no one chose to just show up in this stupid place, right?

[He grits his teeth, which makes his sharpened canine teeth stand out even more. Rin's taking this all rather personally.]

Is everyone okay at least? Those girls got to safety, right? Oi Nita, that was pretty good getting to the blonde girl so fast. And Merle--are you doing okay?

[He growls a little.]

If one of those anti-foreigner kedan shows up near me, I'm gonna kick their asses!

[Her tails flicks back and forth as she speaks; little flicks of agitation.]

Mmm, I don’t think any of us really expected any of this. [She folds her arms, scowling and ears pinning back as she slumps in her chair. A second later her ears flick forward and she looks intently at him.]

You’re okay, right?

Especially not after everyone was trying to convince us how great this place was.

Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm fine.

[She makes a face, looking clearly displeased. She is so much so that she's actually bristling a bit... until he assures her that he is fine.]

Good. You need to keep fine, you hear me.

[Merle was clearly feeling more like herself.]

Ha, don't worry about me! I can handle a bunch of angry kedan. You keep yourself fine too, alright?

[She waves away the concern, grinning smoothly.]

Me? Oh, I'll eat these guys for breakfast.

Ha! That's good to hear! I knew you were tough.

[She rubs the side of her nose, her tail giving a lazy wave behind her.]

Not as much as you, but I think I'm good to go.

[Says the cat-girl that just got roughly cat-napped else post. ;A;]

Well, we'll be sure to look after each other then, how about that?

[he offer catches her off guard and that tough bravado slips ever so slightly before she smiles again and nods.]

Mmm... someone needs to make sure you don't fall off any rooftops!

I'm counting on you, Merle!

[She laughs, fangs flashing in a happy grin.]

[He just laughs too.]

[She grins, still giggling a bit.] Not that you really did all that bad a job climbing, yourself, but… we should work on it. That way the next time you try climbing a building, you have less problems.

Usually I can just jump up there. I'm a really good jumper.
