[Rin is broadcasting from his room, and aside from a few scrapes he seems to be fine. He's absolutely livid, though.]

What the hell was that all about?! What's with this "anti-foreigner" stuff all a sudden? And after everyone went on and on about how great this city is! Yeah, some city where people wanna kill us for shit we can't control! I mean, I'm pretty sure no one chose to just show up in this stupid place, right?

[He grits his teeth, which makes his sharpened canine teeth stand out even more. Rin's taking this all rather personally.]

Is everyone okay at least? Those girls got to safety, right? Oi Nita, that was pretty good getting to the blonde girl so fast. And Merle--are you doing okay?

[He growls a little.]

If one of those anti-foreigner kedan shows up near me, I'm gonna kick their asses!

The lack of warning was probably part of the plan. Unless you meant the friendly kedan?

Yeah, obviously! They could have mentioned that there was...unrest, or whatever.

It's possible they were trying to ignore it. Or avoid scaring us. It doesn't make it an excuse, but we don't know their reasoning.

Probably. He kept avoiding my questions before, and they weren't even anything close to the level I'd try now.

Maybe some of the smaller business owners, in the sectors with less of a police presence? That could be a factor, too.
