Good evening, everyone. My name is Inara Serra, and I have recently found myself a bit out of sorts with my arrival in this strange place. I would cry kidnapping, but I hardly think that is the case.

I was wondering - and hoping - that there might just be someone I know here. Please, if you recognize me, I would greatly appreciate if it you could respond.

Also, if anyone could perhaps explain a bit more about what this place is and how I might have come to be here - and why - I would also be greatly indebted to you.

I have never seen or been to earth. No one I know has.

[That last part completely catches him off-guard and it takes him a few seconds to process that bit of info. He's seen a lot of... non-humans since he got here and it was obvious that they weren't from where he was, so this is a surprise.]

... Oh. Sorry about that. Guess I assumed you were from there since you look human. So, ah, where are you from?

Well, we all have origins from Earth That Was. But it grew far too crowded to hold the masses, and with resources so depleted, we left. Truth be told, I have no idea if anyone stayed behind. That was…several generations ago.

But to answer your question, I was born on Sihnon – one of the most beautiful places in the ‘Verse. I am, of course, just as human as you.
