--oh, shoot. Just how do I work this contraption? I knew I should've asked for specific directions... Is it a phone? Or... something... huh?

[ The feed opens up to one confused looking Avatar with a hand paused mid-scratch at the side of her head. Blink blink. She straightens and attempts to clear her throat a bit, but even doing that does nothing to remove the slightly confused frown on her face. ]

So... Keeliai. [ how does i start conversation to people she isn't even sure she might be speaking to ] It's... a nice looking place, I guess. I have so many questions, but I think I should start off with...

What next? I mean, if anyone's got any helpful suggestions on how to deal with this place, I'd be all for it. Really!

[ Pause. ]

He and Aang helped build Republic City together. I guess you could call them the "founding fathers" of the city. [ Pause. ] But I know you contributed, Sokka. You were one of their councilman!

[ A grin starts at watching Sokka take all of this information in... pretty well, actually. It gets even wider when he just leaves it off at just "waterbender." ]

Hah. Yeah. That Zuko.

And an earthbender. Oh! Not to mention a firebender, too. Just thought I'd add those two in.

[He's kind of...not really believing the whole, Zuko teamed with them. Since last time Zuko uh...yeah. He's just not got any good memories of Zuko.]

Sokka's eyes go really wide and he leans in.]

You're the avatar? Really? [Kinda sad that that means Aang is...dead. Wow, yeah okay really sad.]

You got it! After Aang. [ Her voice does take on a slightly, but still cheerful note when she says that last bit, knowing what that means to him, especially. ]

What, you don't believe me? [ Especially saying that "really" bit. ]

What? Oh no! I just mean that...well it's hard to think of future ones cause I'm sort of...hanging with Aang? I guess? And the future is waaaay ahead of me so it's...weird. Good weird I guess, and it's pretty cool you're the avatar and everything.

Ha! I bet it's easier not having to like, travel the world and find masters. Or...do you still have to do that?

[He's rambling. Make him stop.]

Actually... Before Aang passed away, he had the Order of the White Lotus set up a compound to train me in when they found me. [ Blows a puff of air at her bangs, showing her slight disapproval. ] I couldn't really get out much, and I was always under constant watch...

I appreciate the thought, but they trained me for a reason! I'm not some baby anymore.

Wow, that part sucks, were you allowed to just...be a kid? Cause I mean, we've had fun.

[He rubs his nose and then sighs.]

I see the good points in it? But...I see bad as well. Probably could have been executed a lot better.

[ Blinks. No wonder you were made a councilman, Sokka. She can see the beginnings! ] It wasn't always that bad. I did want to prove that I'm a good Avatar, and I had Katara, and my best friend, Naga, with me. I was still able to visit my parents, too.

It wasn't until I got to Republic City that I saw... how lucky I got off, actually.

[He'll probably never get over being on the council. Well okay he will, but he'll probably go on about how insanely cool it is. Right now, that's too boring for him.]

Well hey, at least they didn't lock you up and throw away the key, demanding that you bend for all eternity and forbid you from seeing people.

[ Makes an amused, but also disapproving sound. Pfft. ] Well, they did try keeping me from going after my airbending teacher since he couldn't stay in the compound to train me like it was planned. I managed to sneak out on a ferry going back to Republic City with Naga.

As for who she is, she's my polar bear dog!

Hmm... sort of? Tenzin said the city wasn't always like that, but that was when Aang was still around. Without him, things just... they were falling apart.

[Korra...he likes you and he grins at the mention of sneaking out. Because, who would stay somewhere like that just to learn how to bend when you knew how...and not let you do much? Exactly. No one.

He slaps both cheeks and drags his hands down his face.]

Noooo waaaay! I always wanted a polar bear dog! But you know, the whole...being kind of aggressive thing. So you what? Tamed her? Uugh I bet she's so cute!

[He could kind of see how that would happen, but a city just not...functioning the way it had been?]

Wow, so everyone must have looked up to him. [Duh. He laughs a little and shakes his head.]

Wonder what he's like.

[ She laughs at Sokka's assessment. ] Yeah, I did! But she's really such a sweetheart, most of the time. She is a polar bear dog, after all. Ugh, now I wish she was brought over here with me so she could meet you - it just doesn't feel right!

[ Crossing her own arms in a huff. ]

Yeah, it sounded like that. [ Pause. ] Tenzin, you mean?

I kinda want to say I hope she turns up, but at the same time? We're here against our will, right?

[He smiles and rolls his shoulders.]

[ Sighs on that. ] I guess you are. I still hope she comes to me somehow. Hehe, maybe then I can take you out for a ride with her!

Tenzin is Aang and Katara's third child; he's the youngest of the three. Though apparently was always the more serious of them all. Totally different from his dad, I think.

[The noise he makes isn't human.]

[Pause...He's a little...did she just say uhm, what?]

Hang on, did you say Aang and Katara's child? As in...my sister? [His voice raises on 'sister' as he wonders if there's any other Katara's.]

They...get together? And have...kids?
