Okay so that wasn't exactly my kinda idea of a swim. FYI might be a bit better for business if you have a less creepy welcome speech. Better customer service, you know? Maybe answer a few questions that I had? And what does it mean by uh...dreaming, life and death?

Not important. Anyone else on the same boat? [Pause and a snort, cause they're on a...nevermind.] If there is, I'm gonna assume that means that we can't exactly just go home. That would be far too easy.

First port of call, where can I get some food because I'm kind of really hungry.

Uugh my throat also really hurts.

[From having been by his side to suddenly being in a new, well a new world alone and without Teddy there on the ride in, it had been hard. He'd spent so much time just closed up against the world that it had taken a lot to actually snap him out. The thought of losing Teddy had been enough, but he'd been pleasantly surprised and...oh damn! He was with Teddy.

He wraps his arms back around Teddy and holds onto him, burying his face in his neck and kisses there before pulling back.]

Ugh so happy you're here! I think I'd have gone insane if you weren't.

[Billy's words make him frown a little and tighten his arms around him. He had been too elated, so happy to see Billy that he hadn't thought about how Billy had been in his own world, lost to them for months. Then again, Teddy didn't want to think about that - about how many times he'd tried to get Billy to snap out of it, to come away from that window and start to enjoy life. He'd never given up, but he'd been losing the will to keep going.]

I'm glad you're here, too. I thought I'd left you at home to go back to moping. [He pulled back and grinned before leaning to press a kiss to Billy's forehead.] Come on, let's get inside before Tommy complains the place down.

I don't even want to think about it.

[He smiles at the kiss to his forehead and rolls his eyes. Of course Tommy was going to be complaining. He was surprised he couldn't hear it from outside. But he takes Teddy's hand and gives it a squeeze and heads towards the door to go in.]

Yeah, me neither. I missed you.

[Teddy lead Billy inside the apartment. The front door lead into a small hallway that broke off into two rooms and ended in the open plan living area where Tommy and the food was. Was probably being the operative word, because Teddy didn't honestly expect any of the pizza or the stew would be left... Teddy pulls Billy down into that room.]

Welcome to my humble abode? It's weird having a place of my own; please tell me you can magic something awesome up once your magic is working again. [Teddy says working again, because since waking up, his shifting has been a little harder to do and a little clumsier.]

[Teddy is right about the pizza and stew being missing, and Tommy is scrounging around looking for something else to eat, his speedster appetite not quite sated. He glances over his shoulder from the cupboard he was rooting through, and is suddenly in front of both of them, still in super hero gear because he's not had a chance to change yet.]

Or y'know. Just magic us home.

Missed you too.

[And he had, even if they had only been apart for a few hours. Billy had just spent months not talking and he wanted to make up for all the time he had just lost. And to freak out about being Avengers.

Inside he looked about, it was pretty much the same layout in some ways as his. Just a few differences and then there was Tommy.

Oh and there was Tommy right in his face. He pulled a face as if he was trying to think.]

Nothing's gonna happen right now Tommy, I could barely get this t-shirt and jeans to show up. Still feel really bad.

[When he said he missed Billy, it wasn't just because they'd been apart. Teddy felt like he hadn't seen the real Billy in months - he certainly hadn't had a decent conversation out of him. To see Billy talking and smiling again was like his world finally coming back together.]

Tommy, you should really change out of that. Weird different world or not, our secret IDs are still important. [And then a glance around to see that, yeah, Tommy ate everything. He rolls his eyes.] And you ate all the food...

Yeah, my shifting has been a little off since arriving, but it's coming back. Maybe you can try once it's back to full strength. Or at least magic me up some normal clothes, because I feel like I'm in a martial arts movie. [A grin and he releases Billy's hand to rummage for something else to cook, making them all drinks as well.]

[Tommy scrunches his nose up, obviously agitated that they can't just go home and properly celebrate their evening. He was going to take Kate out for a drink and everything. But it's not Billy's fault. Even if this place didn't drain you--Tommy's legs were still sore--Billy hadn't used magic in months. He was probably out of practise.]

Change into what? And secret identity? Yeah right, like white hair isn't hard to spot. [he pulls his goggles clean off his face and puts them on the side, running a hand through his hair. A glance was cast over the remains of the stew and Tommy rubbed the back of his neck.]

...Yeah. I was really hungry. Oops? [He doesn't really care though.]

Where'd you find clothes again, Teddy?

Billy looks at Tommy and shrugs.]

People back home never seemed to guess who you were.

[He tries to bring over a few items of clothing for Tommy and Teddy to get changed into but he doesn't manage it and shakes his head.]

I'll try again later when I'm not all...bleh.

[Could have been coming to this place but it could have also been the fact he came out of a slump a few hours ago. Billy went over to where Teddy was and took the drink.]

So let's get the facts together, we all came here within hours of each other. We're all a big, weird with our powers and no one else is here?

Did you get a proper look at the natives, Tommy? I'm sure plenty of them have white hair. [He shrugs and gives a small chuckles.] The bedroom - there's clothes in the closet.

[Leaning back against the counter with his drink, Teddy nodded in response to Billy's words.] Right. It's just us. And we're all from the exact same point in time, right? My powers are coming back slowly, but it's still... strange.

[He gives Teddy a look, crossing his arms over his chest.] Yeah, the old ones.

[He's gone a moment before he returns with a silk shirt in hand, examining it with a raised eyebrow. Though his speed is sort of back, he's actually a lot slower than usual. Only short bursts for now.] I'm gonna look like Jackie Chan in this. [he opts for tossing it onto a chair for when he's really desperate and just stays in his super stuff.]

Yeah. No kidding. Do you know how slow walking is? [:I] I'm from... Uh. Cap just offered us a spot on the Avengers. I think. Please tell me you guys are from the same point because I'm really not in the mood for time stuff right now.

Look, give me like an hour or something and I'll try and change some of the clothes here, that might be easier that actually creating casual clothes.

[He just stares at Tommy for a moment because, really? Did you just hear yourself there? And then he has such a stupid smile on his face and looks to Teddy because, holy shit! That was...yes. He nods.]

Yeah, something says we are. I remember Cap talking to us and then I was waking up dripping wet.

They're not that bad, Tommy. [Teddy rolls his eyes just a little, but even he grins at the thought of getting changed into something just a little more modern.

Then he's matching the stupid smile on Billy's face because they were all from the same time. And that was perfect.]

Same. Cap was talking and then I'm being dragged up onto the island.

[he makes a small noise at Billy when he suggest modifying the clothes--something that gave the impression that it would suffice for now--and just straight up ignores Teddy, in favour of peering at them both when they say where they're from. He knows there are people here from different universes, different time periods, and it was slightly worrying to think that his friends--his family--would be from a completely different point.

The answers from them both is enough to get him to smile too. Not as goofy as Billy and Teddy look but still.]

No sign of Kate?

[Billy had moved so he could bump against Teddy's shoulder.

The smile faded slightly as he heard Tommy's question and he shook his head.]

I've not...seen her or heard her. I mean she might be here and we just haven't...noticed? Maybe she hasn't been to a console yet?
