Not quite. I have the sedative in question but no recipe. I need someone to duplicate it.

Oh! [She scowls to herself over not getting it right.] So you need more of it. It'd probably be a lot easier to get someone to agree if you weren't so steadfastly anonymous.

[squint]

I don't want to take the chance of someone recognizing me if this whole thing is what I think it is.

[sophos]

And what do you think it is?

I'm not at liberty to say. [ Why do you think he's anonymous? Other than being paranoid. ]

Why do you need to be at a library for that? [Someone did not read that sentence over carefully enough before opening her mouth.]

But - [hold on, hold on. She goes back, reads it over again, and then there's a long, quiet pause, followed by a small groan, and she mutters liberty.] Right. Anonymous. Secrecy. The whole nine yards.

If it works out I'll find a way to get out of here.

With how many people that are trying to do just that, someone's bound to figure it out. Am I allowed to ask if your plan relates to your sedative, or is that under wraps, too?

[squint]

It's part of it, yes.

[sophos]

Do you think it's dream related? Like our dreams would hold the key to leaving? [Because of that first conversation and the current one.]

[Shhh she's aware he said he can't talk about it but she'll try anyway.]

I believe that's one of many theories. [ wow way to vaguely answer, cobb. ]

[sophos]

[He can probably hear the eyeroll in her tone. Because yeah wow way to vague.] Can't blame a girl for trying.

You're smart. Very smart. [ She put two and two together--which not a lot of people do. ]

What are your theories on what this place is?

[sophos]

I'm aware. [Half deadpan, half "thank you captain obvious."]

A different realm of some kind, from all our worlds. Some people were dead before arriving, some weren't, so I definitely don't think it's the afterlife, exactly. [Plus she's been there back home so.]

[squint]

Not the afterlife, of course. A dream?

[sophos]

No. I don't think it's one big dream either, though I'm starting to assume you do.

[squint]

I think there's more than a few possibilities. That, theoretically, could be one of them.

[sophos]

And there's no way to tell which one's right, not without concrete proof.

[squint]

Correct. I have people with me working on testing this out.

[sophos]

And will you be sharing the results?

[squint]

If it gets us out of here.
