[Well, hello there. There’s a friendly face smiling at the network, nervously pushing his glasses up. He doesn’t seem to have any kind of trouble with the computers, but it’s obvious by the way he’s looking speaking to crowds (and he seems to consider whoever might be looking a ‘crowd’) isn’t really his thing.

Or that’s what he wants to make you believe, anyway. Clark Kent had always been the go to personality in case of kidnapping. He isn’t stupid enough to show where is he exactly living, but you get to see enough of his room to guess he’s in the water sector if you care enough to notice that kind of things. Seeing how calm and easy going the guy seems it shouldn’t come as a surprise.]

Um, hello. [A little friendly wave and a tilt of his head.] I’m not really sure if we’re supposed to-ah, introduce ourselves? I was told everything would be alright and everybody I’ve seen has been rather welcoming so far so I though… [He trails off, shrugging.] Call it farm-boy routine I guess.

Anyway, I’m Clark. Clark Kent. It’s a pleasure.

[Clark was always a little uncomfortable with Kon's openness about his powers. That, and the suggestion that he knew more than what he let on about him- but it's been long since he's been over that in his time.]

[He gives Clark a salute and then turns off the console and leaves his apartment. Water sector...water sector...Kon flew up high into the air so he could get an aerial view and work out which direction to head in. It only took a second or two before he zoomed of in a burst of speed. It was no time at all before he was heading to the ground. Landing, almost without a sound and looked about the area. Wondering where it was that Kal would be.]

Mr. Kent?

[Clark had rushed down because he knew how impatient Kon would get, but he still could only run at human speed once he was on the streets if he didn't want to be found out. He still wasn't sure if a secret identity would be wise in this place, but he had to try.

So he gets there a few moments later than Kon.] Over here, son.

[He turned around and then sees Clark giving him a smile and a small wave, he walked over to the man. Kon wasn't an idiot, he just played one really well so he knew that right now, he was talking to Clark Kent and not Supes. Hey, it was pretty much confirmed, right? Again, Kon wasn't an idiot, and he wouldn't come right out and say anything.

His smile turns to a grin and he gives Clark the thumbs up.]

Hey Mr. Kent! Glad you could make it. This is a pretty cool sector and as far as I know, it's one of the ones that doesn't really pose any threat.

I'm starved so, I'm gonna grab something that edible, want something?

[Kal keeps getting mood whiplash when talking to this Kon. He's- s happy, so cheerful and ready to jump into doing anything to pass the time. His Kon is still a teen but he's... changed. And he didn't notice how much until he's seen him like he used to be.

So he's torn between feeling happy that he has the chance to be like this again, and sad that the Kon in his timeline won't be anymore. But it isn't this Kon's fault so he chooses to ignore those feelings and focus on getting to know the place.]

So I have been told, I guess I don't really look like I could survive in any of the other sectors. I'm not really hungry though, but thank you.

[Kon hasn't even been told what he's like other than he's probably matured a little. Not by Tim any way so he isn't sure just how different he is.]

Yeah, not unless you stabbed them with a pen or something. Even then they might just laugh.

[He grins to show that he was joking. Kon liked Supes, he did, but sometimes adults were just too...grown up and mature. Clark seemed like an okay guy, really different though, especially from the kind of people Kon was used to talking to.

He walked over to a stall and grabbed some fruit, flicking money over to the tender and took a bite.]

I'd probably avoid places like the Fire sector and stuff unless you want people getting all up in your face. I mean, no offence but I don't think spouting of reporter stuff will get them to back off.

[Clark raised a pointed eyebrow, but it was obvious from his expression that he's mostly amused by Kon's commentary.]

And here I thought a pen and a notebook made everyone tremble in fear. But alright, I will avoid the Fire sector.

Have you heard about the kidnapping that happened not long ago?

Yeah maybe if you owned a restaurant and were a food critique. Or if you have to go, make sure you have people with you.

[He looks surprised and shakes his head.]

Uh...no actually I didn't even know that happened.

I think not many people would be willing to do that. [Those who would know he doesn't need it.]

That's alright, I'm just trying to gather up information about it.

The natives- the kedan people who kidnapped them... [He makes a face] not so much.

That's a relief. Man I gotta be more on my game! Can't believe that happened.

[He frowns and runs a hand through his hair and then shrugs.]

Shows that we won't take things just lying back. I mean, as long as they weren't killed I don't see a problem, they kidnapped our people, that's a no-go, they'd do the same if we kidnapped some kedan, right?

[He sighs.]

They... got decapitated, Kon-El. To set an example.

Wait...do you mean the girls that got taken up on the stage? Cause, I knew about that...or is this another kidnapping thing?

I... had no idea it was on a stage.

Yeah. It was kind of hard to watch.

I can imagine. And I'm guessing no one tried to record it? Or wrote about it?

Not that I know of? If they did, they're keeping it to themselves. But I don't think the people involved really want a constant reminder.

It's not a constant reminder, it's a way to inform people and to make sure they are... careful with he laws here.

But if it's recorded and then put to the public, then it is. Also, we never saw anything to do with the law here, other than, join a gang and act out, you die.
