[Well, hello there. There’s a friendly face smiling at the network, nervously pushing his glasses up. He doesn’t seem to have any kind of trouble with the computers, but it’s obvious by the way he’s looking speaking to crowds (and he seems to consider whoever might be looking a ‘crowd’) isn’t really his thing.

He isn’t stupid enough to show where is he exactly living, but you get to see enough of his room to guess he’s in the water sector if you care enough to notice that kind of things. Seeing how calm and easy going the guy seems it shouldn’t come as a surprise.]

Um, hello. [A little friendly wave and a tilt of his head.] I’m not really sure if we’re supposed to-ah, introduce ourselves? I was told everything would be alright and everybody I’ve seen has been rather welcoming so far so I though… [He trails off, shrugging.] Call it farm-boy routine I guess.

I didn't really get much of a choice, they just told me that's where I live now. [coming from most people who know her, she'd probably have found the question kind of condescending.

[He shrugs] The same thing as me then, I wonder how they decide where to make us live.

[He grins a bit] I'm sure you will be.

I hope it's just random allocation, anything else would seem too sinister. [If there's some sort of pattern behind their housing allocations, it'd suggest the kedan, or at least the emperor, know too much]

Thanks. [Kind of an odd response to that, but - Steph doesn't get a lot of people having faith that she can do things like being careful.]

Honestly? They have to know enough about us to choose who to bring and how. Doing something like that at random could be dangerous.

[He taps his chin] Then again, if the threat is as big as they are making us believe maybe they didn't have the time for investigation.

I figured it was a bit - you know, point and shoot at a superhero, or a cop, or what-have-you, and hope they're gonna help when they show up. [she even made a little finger gun to go with that comment]

Not that this sort of thing is really my speciality. I mostly just punch stuff.

[That gets a laugh out of him. He likes her, he reminds him of Dick when he was Robin. He can see why Kara will become friends with her.]

I'm sure we'll figure it out eventually. We can even try to punch the truth out of some of the gangs in here even.

Not sure how much useful information the general public have, but it'll make good stress relief, if nothing else.

I've always been more of a yoga kind of guy myself. You get tired of punching things eventually.

[Steph's expression sort of just - twists, as she tries to picture Superman doing yoga and her brain proceeds to get all Blue Screen of Death. No offence, Clark.]

I'm not sure I want to believe that, but I'll defer to your greater experience in the field.

[Hey he's actually pretty good at it thank you very much, he has to learn how to relax and stuff. Plus he's been in Asia enough time to pick up a couple things.]

Of course. [like it's obvious that she'd believe anything Superman tells her.] About a week, it's been... interesting, so far.

Any kind of interesting I should know about?

Oh, you know, just some kidnapping and gang violence; makes me feel at home. And uh, lots of superheroes. [lots of boy superheroes who keep hitting on her, she's not going to mention that to Clark, though. That'd be weird] They seem to know each other, so I guess they've all come from a world similar to ours.

Must be the heroes Nita told me about. If you can write up a list about the names of those who come from this alternate world I'd appreciate it?

I understand if it's too much work though. [He will eventually do it himself, but it's always faster with teamwork and Steph has been here for longer.]

I think I can manage that, my workload's been pretty easy without Oracle bossing me around.
