[Well, hello there. There’s a friendly face smiling at the network, nervously pushing his glasses up. He doesn’t seem to have any kind of trouble with the computers, but it’s obvious by the way he’s looking speaking to crowds (and he seems to consider whoever might be looking a ‘crowd’) isn’t really his thing.

Or that’s what he wants to make you believe, anyway. Clark Kent had always been the go to personality in case of kidnapping. He isn’t stupid enough to show where is he exactly living, but you get to see enough of his room to guess he’s in the water sector if you care enough to notice that kind of things. Seeing how calm and easy going the guy seems it shouldn’t come as a surprise.
]

Um, hello. [A little friendly wave and a tilt of his head.] I’m not really sure if we’re supposed to-ah, introduce ourselves? I was told everything would be alright and everybody I’ve seen has been rather welcoming so far so I though… [He trails off, shrugging.] Call it farm-boy routine I guess.

Anyway, I’m Clark. Clark Kent. It’s a pleasure.

[A crooked smile.] About a week. People seem to have gotten pulled out of the water every seven days or so for the past three weeks.

No, sir. [Not an officer, still older than Steve himself, so sir it is.] Has anyone given you a rundown of what happened during the welcome festival they threw? I wasn't present, but I know the generalities.

Of course, Mr. Kent. [Respect is a thing Clark, he can't help it. And he's gotten even more stubbornly traditional about it ever since he woke up seventy years past where pleasantries seem to be relevant.

He doesn't quite grimace.]

It seems that one of the gangs in the Fire Sector tried to execute some of the new arrivals as an example to the rest. The police stopped it and... [It's clear he doesn't like this any more than the gang's strategy.] Beheaded the responsible party in front of the crowd. There's been a great deal of unrest in the area since.

That would be the smartest thing to do.

[Yeah, notice how he avoided saying what he was doing himself? Patrolling the Fire Sector has taken up most of the time he hasn't spent working.]

Maybe not, but don't let what some of them have done poison you against the rest - the majority of the kedan are perfectly friendly, as much as anybody tends to be. It's just like anyplace that way.
