Greetings, fair people. I thought perhaps I could trouble thee with a question of mine own, as it hath scarcely been a full day since I found myself on this strange isle. I was garbed in mail on mine arrival, and, as I had feared, my time in the water hath set it to rusting. Doth any man know of a sturdy armorer or blacksmith who might thusly be capable of mending it? The damage doth run deep, I fear, and I must confess that I feel naked striking out without its cool weight upon my breast.

[ He smiles, a bit vacantly, into the video feed -- its' definitely a foreign concept to be speaking to...well, no one at all, and yet still have an audience -- and after a moment’s hesitation, bows his head. ]

If any soul could offer assistance in this matter, I thank thee kindly.

Ah, I thank thee greatly, kind sir. I only hope that the mail is still within the realm of repair -- it would, I think, be far more costly to replace it forthwith, and I would feel ill at ease without it.

I'm sure they've got something different here that won't be as pricy if you need to repair it. Not saying it'll be perfect but it's something.

I would be less ashamed to enter battle naked than in any armor of subpar workmanship. It would strike mine honor to the very core to stoop to anything less.

It would be most appreciated. Of course, I would rather that I fix mine own armor -- though it doth embarrass me to say, it hath some sentimental value to me, and I would rather not part with it.

Art thou a knight or a soldier in thine own world, if I might ask?

I am glad for the common ground, if I might dare to say. Methinks this place is rather unfriendly, though the native people do much to distract both the eye and the heart.

It ain't so bad if you've been in a helluva lot of nastier places, but it's-- jarring, I guess. Seems like not all the natives are too happy about us being here, though, and I can't really blame 'em.

I hath seen the altars of Torak in the depths of Rak Cthol, and the bloody sights there hath chilled the very breath in my lungs; verily, this place hath a more friendly façade, and indeed, it hath a certain charm to it. And yet, it is difficult not to feel as though there is something rather sinister lurking beneath its gentle veneer.

Wouldn't be surprised. There's been a handfulla stuff that's gone south real fast, and I don't think we're the only cause of it, no matter how much they may wanna blame it on us.
