[Allison sits down in her suite in the Fire Sector, opening up the video function. She smiles a little awkwardly.]

Hi. I've done the new girl thing a lot in my life but I'm pretty sure I've never done it to such extremes before.

[New to a city is one thing -- new to a world? That's a whole other.]

I'm Allison Argent. [Beat]

I have a question actually -- is it true what they say about time not moving the same back home? Because I'm kind of all my father has left and he's going to freak out if he notices me missing.

[To say the least. No one wants to see the Chris Argent version of Liam Neison in Taken.]

I'd ask why everyone seems to just be okay with the fact that we're living on a giant turtle but I'm guessing that's one of those things they don't really have answers for. Maybe a Stockholm Syndrome sort of situation? The longer you're hear the more you just accept the strangeness of the situation.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.

[There's another pause as Allison decides she doesn't have much else to say.]

I guess I have time to figure it out for myself, don't I?

[And with that, the feed cuts.]

I can see why. I wouldn't get along with someone like that either.

[So before her. Okay. She can handle this. She bites on her bottom lip, unsure of how to proceed -- but at least some of the information could be comforting.]

I'm from after that. We get his mom back safely -- Stiles' Dad too. And mine.

[ That's - that's all good news. ]

Your dad got taken? [ He looks away, processing. ] But, we got them back. Everyone's safe?

[She nods, taking a breath. Her dad being taken is still a recent sting -- but one that got resolved.]

Yeah he did. We were trying to protect him -- but my Dad kind of took things into his own hands. He didn't want to risk us and got taken -- but we got them all back.

... You mean he gave himself up?

[ Sounds like him. ]

Yeah he did.

[She remembers how much she freaked out then -- Isaac had been the one to comfort her through most of it but she reminds herself that this Isaac doesn't know that.]

For the most part. It's all still a little jarring. [Everything that happened back home -- suddenly being here.]

It gets less so. Eventually. Place isn't that bad when you get to know it. Besides the war we're supposed to be fighting. [ A beat. ] Which sector are you in?

Right. They brought us all here for a war. [It doesn't sit well with Allison -- she's been someone's pawn before, she doesn't want to be in that role again.] Fire.

Not that we've seen any sign of it besides he who must not be named. [ Not Voldemort. ] Same. How great are the suites?

I'd ask who he who must not be named is but I guess if you name him that kind of ruins the point. [Or something.]

They're really nice. I think we lucked out here.

You can call him Mally. I don't know a lot of specifics. It gets confusing. But, people get on the network and go on and on about him. You won't be able to miss it.

I love the kitchen. Scott and I baked cookies. [ Oh. That was abrupt. Though, maybe it doesn't feel suspect. People bake all the time. Sure, wrestling followed but nothing happened after. That was the beginning.

A beat. ]

The baking thing only strikes her as strange in that she didn't know Scott could bake. But otherwise as far as she knows, Isaac and he are friends. Friends do things together.]

Sounds nice.

[A beat.]

I think so. I answered whatever questions I could, I think he knows -- I wouldn't lie about if they weren't okay. If my dad wasn't okay.

Wait.

What.

What about my dad?

[bereavements]

[ A slow breath. He closes his eyes. He has to deal with this. Scott will get to him, too. ]

The darach got to him. She captured him.

[skybluejeep]

[There's a moment where he blinks, and lets out a shaking breath. And then...yup. There it goes. Panic attack. His heart is just hammering in his chest, and he feels like he's gonna pass out.]

Sh-...shit. Oh fuck. Fuck!

I figure Allison can action here

[bereavements]

But, Allison said it, we get him back. He's safe, Stiles. [ What's -- what's happening? ]

[He staggers back and away from Allison's terminal and out of the feed. Sorry, back later, he's got a massive freak out to have right now. The news that his dad is safe doesn't stop that fact that the Darach kidnapped him in the first place.]

[ This was exactly what Scott was afraid of.

And guess who's panicking at the sight of Stiles panicking? ]

Stiles! Can you hear me? It's okay, just breathe, okay? Your dad's fine, everything's okay, breathe...

[Sorry, Scott, your biffle is currently taking a major trip to Freak Out City. But at least he's at Allison's?]

[Allison isn't bothering with the network at all but instead making her way over to Stiles, placing her hands on his shoulders as she tries to get him to look in her eyes. She had no idea he didn't know -- of course he didn't. Isaac said he was behind.

This timeline stuff was a mess.]

Stiles. He's safe. We got him back. I saw him with my own eyes. You know I wouldn't lie about that.

hooray action!

[Stiles looks like a small animal in the headlights of a combine harvester. He's frozen in place, and his breathing is fast and shallow.]

B-But the Darach, he has my dad! How can he possibly be SAFE!?

Had. Past tense. We got him back. [She talks slowly and confidently.]

She had my dad too, do you think I would be this calm if they weren't safe?

[He sits down on her sofa with a thump, trying to focus on the logic, the rational argument she was making. But panic attacks aren't rational, and the adrenaline has already flooded his system. He bends over at the waist, head between his knees, and tries to get a full breath in.]

I-...I guess...?

[transferee]

I know it's a lot to take in. [She remembers the panicked feeling she had felt when her father was taken, how sure she was that she'd lose the last bit of her family, but she pushes it away for now.]

I wouldn't lie to you, not about this.

[skybluejeep]

[Even in the midst of his panic, his brain is clicking along onto certain things. The Darach, the evil druid they're all dealing with, is a she. She. She? Who the hell could it possibly be? Those deaths, the sacrifices, they were done by somebody strong, physically strong. Jesus. He'd been looking at it all wrong. It wasn't physical strength, but more magic, that kept the sacrifices cowed.

Still, his heart won't stop beating like a jackhammer, and it's starting to hurt. His head is spinning. He needs something to shock his system back into behaving itself. Cold water?]

Allison...I know you wouldn't lie. C-Can you get me a glass of water please?

[transferee]

[She'll answer whatever questions he has -- it's her fault he's in this state anyway.

She nods her head a little.]

Of course.

[She makes her way to the kitchen, putting some ice in a glass before filling it up with water and bringing it back to him, handing it over.]
