First Hunt; Video
[Allison sits down in her suite in the Fire Sector, opening up the video function. She smiles a little awkwardly.]
Hi. I've done the new girl thing a lot in my life but I'm pretty sure I've never done it to such extremes before.
[New to a city is one thing -- new to a world? That's a whole other.]
I'm Allison Argent. [Beat]
I have a question actually -- is it true what they say about time not moving the same back home? Because I'm kind of all my father has left and he's going to freak out if he notices me missing.
[To say the least. No one wants to see the Chris Argent version of Liam Neison in Taken.]
I'd ask why everyone seems to just be okay with the fact that we're living on a giant turtle but I'm guessing that's one of those things they don't really have answers for. Maybe a Stockholm Syndrome sort of situation? The longer you're hear the more you just accept the strangeness of the situation.
I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.
[There's another pause as Allison decides she doesn't have much else to say.]
I guess I have time to figure it out for myself, don't I?
[And with that, the feed cuts.]

Re: hooray action!
She had my dad too, do you think I would be this calm if they weren't safe?
perma action
I-...I guess...?
no subject
I wouldn't lie to you, not about this.
no subject
Still, his heart won't stop beating like a jackhammer, and it's starting to hurt. His head is spinning. He needs something to shock his system back into behaving itself. Cold water?]
Allison...I know you wouldn't lie. C-Can you get me a glass of water please?
no subject
She nods her head a little.]
Of course.
[She makes her way to the kitchen, putting some ice in a glass before filling it up with water and bringing it back to him, handing it over.]
no subject
...Tell me everything? Please? How and why did the Darach get my dad? And Scott's mom? And your dad?
no subject
I don't know how much you know -- but she was gathering people in threes, representing different things. Virgins, philosophers, healers...and guardians. That last one is where our parents came in.
[She doesn't want to overload him with too much information at once so she pauses before continuing.]
She got your father first -- and then Scott's mom. Isaac and I were trying to help my Dad but he stopped us and allowed himself to get caught by her. Deaton had a way we could find out where she was hiding them.
no subject
...Who? Who is she, Allison? Who is the Darach?
no subject
no subject
...Okay. I get it now. Allison...just tell me one more thing. How did we save our parents?
no subject
Deaton had a way for you me and Scott to be able to locate them -- figure out where she had been keeping them.
no subject
...Jesus. But...we're all safe, right? Everybody lives, right?
no subject
So she's staying quiet on that one.]
Right. [Other than Erica or Boyd. Does he know about Boyd? This timeline thing is really confusing.]
no subject
But he's letting out a slightly relieved breath at that. Okay. That was something. Everybody lived. Because if his dad was safe at the expense of something happening to Scott, or Isaac, or anybody else, he never would have forgiven himself.]
...I need a drink.
no subject
Unfortunately, I don't really have much else other than water to offer yet.
[Not that Allison is really a drinker anyway.]
no subject
[He chuckles a bit, his shoulders shaking up and down once, before he subsides, all too serious again.]
...Is it wrong that I'm kinda pissed at Scott right now for not telling me?
no subject
But he he was trying to do what he thought would be best.
no subject
[He rubs that hand across the top of his head, ruffling his own hair, and he stands up. He's still pale, and shaking a little bit, but he's doing much better. Although he feels slightly nauseated with all the stale adrenaline flooding his system now.]
Um. You might want to go get Lydia alone. I don't think I'm up to that tonight. I...don't want her to see me like this.
no subject
Of course. I'll let her know you say Hi.
