How does one go about undoing a sudden interest in guardianship that a certain shelled someone seems to have found in me?

[ Bakura mutters something under his breath that sounds vaguely like "Nile hippos" and a suggestion for Hawke to do something probably uncouth with it, but it doesn't carry well on the audio feed. ]

I'd ask what you did with your turtle but I'd have to check if it still lives first.

[ He knows it does; more snark on principle. ]

[Hawke takes Bakura's annoyance as a personal victory.]

[The blast of noise makes Hawke wince. Behind him Notch whines.]
