005 ≠ ( AUDIO )

[ He keeps it short and to the point, audio only for the chance that someone might respond with decent advice before they realize by his voice who they're talking to. ]

How does one go about undoing a sudden interest in guardianship that a certain shelled someone seems to have found in me?

[ Someone's been trying to ignore Emily-Helen's insistent mental summons of her new papa, and it's getting to a point where it's becoming near-impossible to hear himself think over her in his head --and he's used to some pretty chatty ghosts already stuck up in there. ]

[This was...one of the last thing she expected to hear over the network. And she wasn't happy about it. She didn't want to talk to him face to face, but that didn't mean she couldn't let her grievances be known:]

Qui aurait jamais vous laisser être un gardien de tortue?

[Oh by the way, can you read French, Bakura?]

[...what?]

[Oh. Wait. That middle word...gardienguardian...that was actually two words. One in French, the other in English.]

[Of course. She had been so frustrated at finding this whole mess out, she'd forgotten. The consoles didn't translate text, and there were so few people who spoke her native tongue.]

You. A Guardian. It is wrong.

[Barely.]

[Her English was adequate enough for simple conversation, but hardly sufficient to express what she really thought.]

Why did happen?

[She was also far more prone to grammatical errors when she wasn't thinking at her clearest. Which may or may not give away her lack of fluency.]

[She had registered as anonymous for a reason. Unless he gave a clear indication he knew who it was, she would just as soon not do anything more to reveal her identity. No matter how much it limited her vocabulary.]

Learn how.

That will teach how to undo it.

[Hey there Bakura it's one of your best friends.]

Have you tried swallowing a blade? That would solve everyone's problem I think.

[Hawke takes Bakura's annoyance as a personal victory.]

Like I'd pass the chance to watch you flail about incompetently anyway.

Last time we did this I left you in a puddle of your own blood and spit. Are you sure you're not just a masochist?

Depends on your point of view. Just about everything that ends well for someone ends badly for someone/something else. Teach a man to fish... yeah, he won't go hungry anymore, but wow it sucks for the fish.

Anyway. You're gonna have to define badly. Preferably without it sounding all 'oh no this cute turtle wants to be my friend.'

Uno, there are other people linked to the turtle; dos, you can't make it do things; tres, they're pretty tough. I've seen them go through walls.

One doesn't. Believe me, I've tried.

[He's also amused by the myriad of responses. The more he learns about Bakura, the more he feels like he's watching a train wreck in motion.]

Well, as long as 'all involved' doesn't include everyone on the turtle, I don't suppose I can stop you.

[He may stop by later to make sure no one's dead, though.]
