[That was Wally and he was tiny. The tiny part didn't matter so much, people showed up from different points all the time, what mattered was that Wally was here. Barry was his best friend so of course he'd spent a lot of time being the much more cool uncle to Wally.

He has his ring track down the speedster and Hal more or less just walks (phases) into his suite without knocking. Barry had tried to get him to stop that, but it hadn't worked.]

Wally, as good as it is to see you, how worried should I be that you have a heart?

[Since Wally made his initial post, he's managed to get his hands on some normal clothes (thanks Zatanna), and is just putting away his few belongings when Hal phases in. Wally tenses up a bit, he wasn't exactly expecting someone to just barge in here.]

[Once he gets a good look at who exactly it is who invaded his suite, he relaxes.]

How else do I get to surprise a Flash?

If you're taking suggestions, then I would say food is always a nice surprise.

And, just a theory, but whoever the heart came from doesn't exactly need it anymore.

[Wait. That sounds kind of terrible.] It's a long story, but basically a girl needed a transplant and I was the delivery boy.

[Nice save there because that really did sound awful otherwise and would raise Hal's alternate universe villain version hackles.]

What makes you think I've got enough money for--

[If the heart expires here and they they all manage to return to their worlds... what would happen to the girl?]

--isn't there a time limit on those things?

[Hal looks incredibly panicked as that thought sinks in before sticking his ring out to the backpack to encase it in a bright green construct to preserve it. He can't keep that up 24/7, but he can damn well try.]

Yeah, but... [Wally looks at the newly created construct and frowns. He knows how Hal feels, really he does, because he was just as panicked when he got here.]

Is that really practical?

[From what he's gathered, they're all going to be here for a while. There's no way the heart can feasibly kept viable for that long. There is one teeny tiny other issue, though:]

And I appreciate the thought, but someone from my world already spoiled how the whole transplant thing turns out. [Kaldur is from farther along in their timeline, after all. Maybe Wally should have have started with this information.]

[...telling Hal not to bother and saying he already knew how it ended doesn't result in a good combination.]

Just until we get out of the geniuses to whip something up. [Or he could keep going. He's got the willpower for it.]

There's got to be a way to change how it ends. The moment you get back, call for backup on whatever distraction you'll inevitably face or just keep running since no one's going to outrun you.

And besides Aqualad... Do you know Aqualad? He said everything turns out okay, and I'm not sure we should really try to change that. [He offers a bit of an awkward smile.] Timelines. Weird, right?

[To Hal, Garth was Aqualad and his face falls at the realisation that if he knows the Aqualad here this isn't the Wally he watched grow up. The costume before didn't give it away, he's not that observant. But he still breathes a sigh of relief to hear that it is a good ending. The way he said not to bother before had been worrying.]

Yeah, sure is weird. But hey, at least your kids aren't here. That'd be weirder.

["Kids"? He realizes that the Wally Hal knows has to be different, but still that is a really, REALLY weird thought. He does a quick mental checklist of all the girls he knows.......]

He's the only Aqualad I know, so you're probably not from my future. Besides you don't look that old.

About seven years, I think? The public has only known about it for three though.
