I hope you're all enjoying your stay on Fantasy Island as much as I am. I still haven't gotten my wish for the largest whirlpool bathtub and all the chili dogs I can eat. I'm hanging in there but I'm starting to lose my patience.

Got some questions and having them answered would really boost my mood.
How high does the tech run here?
Who else is kind of freaked out by the locals?

[You had to go and mention wearing a 'red hood', didn't you?

It's an innocent duology of words. Harmless. But it's also loaded with meaning where Bruce is from.

But there's nothing to confirm it. No other slips. It could be anyone making wise-cracks and bringing up something that in its own way ties back into his greatest failure.

Once is coincidence. Twice is happenstance. Three times, it's enemy action. One coincidence, therefore, means nothing.

But with Tim, Damian and himself all being brought here in the same span of hours, who's to say that others wouldn't follow? Who's to say that Jason--

His expression, rarely anything but neutral, twists in an old grimace. It's the surest sign he has that he needs to partition his emotions on the matter and focus solely on cold driving logic of his life.

He spends the next quarter hour in a light meditative trance, parsing down the facts as they stand. And then he stands, stretches out his muscles, and sits down at the console at his desk.

He hasn't actually used his personal console until this point. The user ID is a unique combination of numbers and letters that don't reflect his real name (he spent six hours going over any potential code he could glean from the combination and came up empty, which is as sure a sign as any) and so long as he doesn't tie either Bruce Wayne or Batman to it, he's as anonymous as he is at the provided cafés.]

The technology is reflective of 1990's America in the Metal and Fire district, and somewhat lower in the others. The locals aren't particularly off-putting compared with how they could be. Anything else?

Visit an herbalist. This place is somewhat lacking in modern pharmaceuticals.

I doubt the kedan manufacture anything 'on the street' of use to metabolisms other than their own.
