[Following up on a conversation with Tu Yunxu at the truth party, Pepper appears on the video looking a little pensive. She's totally not just doing this for Yunxu, but with all the things they've had going on recently it's no wonder there haven't been any big, new developments.]

So, uh, now that we've gotten ourselves anchored and aren't sinking anymore, does anyone have ideas on next steps to waking Tu Vishan up? I know I'm not really much help in that area, but I'm betting everyone would be happier if he was awake. Just after some brainstorming here.

He was possessed by an evil spirit for a super long time. Pretty sure that did it.

Oh, yes. I should have suspected the various events were related. It's difficult to piece together a full story.

What manner of creature was this 'Malicant'?

I don't know very well; I wasn't here for all that. But some kind of... spirit, I guess? He didn't seem to have a physical form, at least. Devious. Planned for the long-haul for like a lot of centuries.

And he had followers.

Hmm, this being reminds me of Hunhow. [ The venom in her voice as she spoke his name left little doubt as to Bisi's opinion of him. ]

I take it that this Malicant's agenda has continued to pose problems, even after its destruction.

[Pepper recognizes that tone, and is both sorry and glad to hear it. Bisi understands the seriousness of the situation, but it would be nice if no one ever had to experience that.]

Yeah, a lot. Even through it's been close to two years, there's still a ton of questions. Tu Vishan being in a coma means we've got no protection if he sank underwater, so we had to figure out a way to ground him. Hopefully we can wake him up and get a lot of those questions answered.

[Like what was happening with the soul gems and the cultists, and the hatchlings, among others.]

Hmm. [ It was the Lotus that put Bisi to sleep at the end of the war, and she was the one to also wake Bisi up when she determined the Tenno were in danger. That didn't sound very useful in this case though. ]

Do the Kedan know of any time in the past when the turtle has slept?

I... don't know, actually. That's a good question. Hey, see, research! Step in the right direction.
