[Victor tries not to look awkward as he sits in front of the console. He's still in his uniform, tugging slightly at the collar with his normal hand. He won't admit it but he's a little nervous about being stranded here on his own.]

It's probably weird that the thing that bothers me most about all this is the fact that's nothing has tried to kill me yet. It's not just me that thinks that's weird, right?

I mean other than feeling like I went a round or two with Namor on his home turf and lost badly for most of the ride here, this has been the nicest welcome I've had to a new dimension. Those people that brought me here in the cart were an improvement over demons for sure.

Speaking of demons...[He glances around his suite a moment before his attention returns to the console.] no one's seen a crazy demon girl running around calling herself Magik or Darkchylde, have they? Dropping me into some weird alternate world is definitely something she would do.

Well anyway, I'm Victor. Are any of the X-men stuck here? Or anyone else from the Jean Grey School?

[He nods.] Supervillain with demon powers that was part of Osborn's crap. What about him?

He broke out of jail and I sort of tracked him down and tortured him.

[He treats this as No Big Thing because hey, he likes the notoriety. And having people a little afraid of him? Never hurts either.]

Tortured...dude...[Victor just frowns a moment, thinking over what to say. No fear from him though, sorry. He went to school with much scarier people.]

Oh. [He nods a little.] I don't really agree with the whole torture thing but I can definitely understand that part.

Well, you could always come by the Jean Grey School. I'd take more than that to get expelled from there.

That doesn't really matter. Mutants and non-mutants go to the school already.

Nevermind. You get this place figured out yet?

Alright then. [Just a shrug.] That depends on how you define figured out. We got sucked into some other dimension that the locals say is between life, death, and dreaming or whatever. And we're on the back of a giant turtle...which is actually kind of cool but after two Krakoas and a space station turned island, not as cool as it could be.

[Why does everyone have more fun than him? The only cool place he's ever been is the pocket dimensions in Pym's manor.]

I know, right? Although I'd have taken tropical topless beaches. You know, if the option was there.

I fully support a nice and sunny tropical beach but aren't the only people that ever go to that kind beach the ones you wish would put more clothes on and horribly disappointed straight guys?

Hey, I don't plan on being disappointed.

[Although he is a little taken aback. 'Straight guys'? That sounds like this kid setting himself apart from that particular demographic, and Brandon is suddenly ten shades of unsure about this entire conversation.]

[He shrugs. Vic doesn't include himself in that demographic but he doesn't just come out and say it just yet.]

That sounds like a good plan. A nice warm beach sounds great right now.

There aren't even any old people here. I think Stark's probably the only one over forty. I mean obviously I'm not counting the kedan, there's no way you can tell how old they are anyway.

[Barring immortals and comic retcon ages COUGH BRUCE WAYNE COUGH.]

Oh, yeah. Like relying on Tony Stark has ever been a good idea. Ever. Do I need to get out my 'I survived the Civil War and all I got was this lousy t-shirt' t-shirt? because I so will.
