[Victor tries not to look awkward as he sits in front of the console. He's still in his uniform, tugging slightly at the collar with his normal hand. He won't admit it but he's a little nervous about being stranded here on his own.]

It's probably weird that the thing that bothers me most about all this is the fact that's nothing has tried to kill me yet. It's not just me that thinks that's weird, right?

I mean other than feeling like I went a round or two with Namor on his home turf and lost badly for most of the ride here, this has been the nicest welcome I've had to a new dimension. Those people that brought me here in the cart were an improvement over demons for sure.

Speaking of demons...[He glances around his suite a moment before his attention returns to the console.] no one's seen a crazy demon girl running around calling herself Magik or Darkchylde, have they? Dropping me into some weird alternate world is definitely something she would do.

Well anyway, I'm Victor. Are any of the X-men stuck here? Or anyone else from the Jean Grey School?

Hi, Victor. [Steph's smile is easy, reassuring, because she can see that nervousness] I'm Steph, and I'm glad this has been one of your nicer experiences with alternate dimensions.

Neither of those names are familiar, but I think there's an X-Man or two around, and probably some other people from your world.

I've gotta say that I don't spend a lot of time getting attacked by demons, but I imagine taking a break from it would be nice.

[She pauses, looking thoughtful. Yes, she does know, but she a) isn't sure if she should give people's identities away and b) doesn't want to look like she's paying that much attention to superheroes] There was a rock dude asking about them the other day, and a couple other people have mentioned them, but I can't remember names. They'll probably respond if you're asking about them, though. Or I could ask my boyfriend, um- Striker, if you know the name, I think he's from the same world as you.

Well that's good. I'd hate to think I stumbled into some kind of weird alternate world without random attempts on my life. [He tries a small smile.]

It's a name a demon picks out apparently.

[Vic stares for a moment when he hears that name. He takes a moment to try to remember some of the lessons from his 'so you got stuck in an alternate reality/timeline' class before nodding.] Thanks, I guess. So is what the nice cart drivers said true? We're stuck here?

[Though... after getting to know Rikki a bit and Nita a little less, Bucky's not quite surprised by the sentiment, nor the irony of the young... green man. Oh well. He's been among shapeshifters for months, now, only so much surprising one can do.]

Demon. I'll... remember that.

So far, yeah. Though a few people have disappeared, and it seems at least one of them has been confirmed to have returned home. It's just not voluntary, judging by reactions of people left behind.

[Victor is definitely fine with the Young Avengers. He's a big fan.]

[That's a lot of names Superman doesn't recognize, but he thinks he's heard Storm mention the X-men before. They were from the same world as the Avengers... which explains the guy's looks.]

It's nice to meet you Victor. You aren't in danger, not an immediate one anyway. And there's a lot of people that will offer you their protection if you need it- me among them. And that name doesn't ring a bell.

I'm guessing you'll have been explained where you are and what this place is by now?

X-Man here, but you've got the school name wrong. Marvel Girl's not exactly school principal here.
