What the hell was that all about?! What's with this "anti-foreigner" stuff all a sudden? And after everyone went on and on about how great this city is! Yeah, some city where people wanna kill us for shit we can't control! I mean, I'm pretty sure no one chose to just show up in this stupid place, right?

[He grits his teeth, which makes his sharpened canine teeth stand out even more. Rin's taking this all rather personally.]

Is everyone okay at least? Those girls got to safety, right? Oi Nita, that was pretty good getting to the blonde girl so fast. And Merle--are you doing okay?

She knows that she belongs in the Earth suites and has a vague recollection of where she’s supposed to go, but as she wasn’t sure, she had taken to sleeping in common areas.
 
The smartest thing to do, considering the conditions of everything around her on Tu Shanshu right now? No, not really, but what other choice did she have? She had her small purse of juulans and the knife she’d taken off the kedan at the riot… she was good to go! Right?
 
So, when she finds and responds to Rin’s post, it’s not from her own console, but one of the local café locations in the Earth Sector. She smiles with a flash of fang, nodding in response to his question.

Doing okay… well, no one’s tried to kill me today, so there’s that… the jerks. [Her ears flick back and she frowns.] Not exactly the welcome I was expecting, all things considered…

I'm not sure it was entirely sudden. The sentiments were probably always there but hidden, at first. Our only interaction as foreigners had initially been with kedan who seemed rather amicable. I don't think they all share the same point of view.
