If anyone has seen him, can you let me know? I know he's been living like a hobo, but he's more of a couch potato hobo, not a mine-dwelling-turning-into-a-gremlin-hobo, so unless his couch ate him, I'm pretty sure he's gotta be around here somewhere.

Also, I'm not the only person who lost their job on this stupid turtle, but I'm willing to keep going, but I'm not working for any kedan.

If anyone needs anything delivered to other parts of the turtle quick, I'm your guy. I'm super fast so I can get it there in minutes that would usually take hours, and you can pay me in food. It has to be food, or else it'll take me longer to get your stuff where it needs to go. It's a pretty good deal if you ask me.

[You can tell it's sort of hurting him to stoop to this. But he's desperate. And being flippant about it is his way of dealing with it.]

You don't seem to get not everyone is a speedster either.

What I mean is, you can't expect them to catch up with you.

Yeah, so I get to spend the rest of my life slowing down for people, trying not to finish their sentences, trying not to get mad at them for being too slow or taking too long, and people get mad at me for being a dick about it?

I think I'm allowed to be a dick about it. They only have to put up with me for a moment, but I have to put up with them for the rest of my freaking life.

Then I guess I should be a 'dick' to you because I can fly and you don't, do you know how frustrating it is to wait? Or because I'm supposed to protect you from bullets. I have other things to do, you know?

[You can hear Tommy open his mouth, and then shut it, burying one of his hands in his face and groaning.]

That's not the same. It's not like you're getting bullets shot at you all the time.

I still have abilities you don't. Being a dick because of that isn't a healthy way to deal with it.

So what, just putting up with it is healthier?

And it makes living with other people easier as well.

That makes no sense.

I can't imagine the amount of emotional energy it must take to be always angry at everyone.

So you admit it's tiring. Wouldn't it be easier to accept you'll always be faster than everyone and try to help instead of complaining about it?

Hey, I help. I help plenty. And I use my speed to do it. But I shouldn't have to pretend to be happy about feeling like I'm alone here because nobody else gets it and nobody else can keep up with me.

You should help because you want to, not because it's what you think you must. And I can keep up with you.

Helping people is the only thing I'm good at.
