Sooo I am guessing that popping up in this place is the norm here, right? So are the freebies, which are really nice of these guys to offer. I'm guessing that this isn't earth though, so I can't exactly IM a location.

Not that I have my phone with me. [Oh boy. Hopefully dad won't freak... or the guys... or--- yeah okay, hopefully no one notices. On the plus side, not the Reach. On the down side, not Earth either.]

Anyway, little warning for the guys I'm sharing a place with. Hi, I'm Traci, if you find a strange girl coming into your home, don't be weirded out okay? I swear I come in peace. I have a peace offering too!

But wow, this place is a lot different from where I've been. I even saw a feathered cow on the way. [Wait, hold on, getting derailed.] I-- oookay, I had a reason to chat on this thing. So hi again, nice to meet you all. Any chance a lovely person out there would be willing to give me a second tour of the place? And maybe a history lesson, since I think I got the basics down, but I'm most likely missing a ton of things I need to know.

Oh? [Well, that's... admittedly random, but if it makes her happy.] What kind of pet is it?

A bird. [ pause ] It looked like one of Heaven's birds.

Can I see the bird? [She doesn't know what Heaven's birds even look like, so she'll take her word for it.]

[ The inquiry seems to momentarily throw her for a loop as though she can't picture anyone making that request. ]

Seems like the best option right now. I doubt you'd want to meet up just to show me your pet.

[ Stocking gets up from her seat and wanders off the video's angle, coming back a moment later with this lovely thing. It's about the size of an owl though much more graceful and it does sit rather tamely the angel's arm. ]

I haven't decided on her name yet.

What kind of bird is she? [Wow, that's pretty. Not one she's used to seeing either, like all the livestock here really.]

I don't know, the kedan just keep giving me dirty looks when I ask them about so I can try and get her some damned food.

[ now Stocking is preening a little ]

Well, I can't disagree about the beauty of it, but considering what little I've been told, I'm surprised you're even keeping one in this rationing period.

I only eat sweets, so I buy her food out of what's left over.

Well, yeah? They're the only kind of food I like.

Pretty sure if I was a mom, and that's a big if, this is the part where I should point out the necessity of a balanced diet.

Or you know, pizza. I'm sure there's a diet someone out there stating they're healthy alternatives. There is pizza in this place, right?

That only applies to humans. Besides, I eat a perfectly balanced diet of sugars. Natural sugar, artificial sugar, and so on.

What are you if you aren't human then, because I don't know a lot of creatures that survives on candy alone.

This sounds so anticlimactic.

Angels can eat whatever they want, I just happen to like candy though I prefer more elegant sweets like pastries and other baking.

I appreciate sweet things like the next girl, but doesn't it get tiring not to be exposed to more flavors?

I love trying new things, as long as they're not spicy, bitter, too salty, bland, or any variety thereof.
