Sooo I am guessing that popping up in this place is the norm here, right? So are the freebies, which are really nice of these guys to offer. I'm guessing that this isn't earth though, so I can't exactly IM a location.

But wow, this place is a lot different from where I've been. I even saw a feathered cow on the way. [Wait, hold on, getting derailed.] I-- oookay, I had a reason to chat on this thing. And maybe a history lesson, since I think I got the basics down, but I'm most likely missing a ton of things I need to know.

[He's really not fond of those either. Nor is he fond of the sort of magic that likely brought them here in the first place, he's got pretty bad experiences with that kind of thing too. Before he answers the question, he sticks up a quick lock - it's not a secret to the people from their world, who are the most likely to be hacking in to watch this, but he's a little protective of said dead person, and a lock is a pretty good way of saying 'keep the fuck out of this conversation' and 'I don't want this discussed openly'.]

Tempest. [He figures that name is a little more recognizable than Garth.] He showed up not too long ago with memories of his murder but no wounds. Things can get very complicated here. It isn't a secret, but I would ask you not speak about it to anyone else, it's like salt in a wound to bring it up.

[She's heard of him, definitely. Magic users of their world, she's heard of once or twice in her life. Maybe not meet them, but she knows of them. Same with Tempest, who she was familiar with by name, but not by association.

Still, that's not a very pleasant thing to hear, close or not.] Of course, I'll keep my lips sealed. [Resurrection wasn't that odd a thing-- well, it was rare, but it's happened, but not usually without being somewhat messy. She won't prod any further though, that wasn't her business.

It's alright, he's not particularly temperamental, I would just rather not have people gossiping about my family to others. It's already happened once and I'd rather avoid that again. [Damn entitled batchildren and their big mouths.]

I'm no ordinary civilian. The name's Traci Thirteen. [If he doesn't recognize it, she wouldn't blame him. She wasn't exactly a big name detective, prefers to be in a team than be the focus anyway, so it helps.] There's not a lot of magicians to keep a track of in the hero community.

A magician, then. [Yeah he hasn't heard of a lot of magicians. He's had... a lot on his plate to keep up with.] Frankly we could use more magic experts here, it'll be good to work with you.
