Sooo I am guessing that popping up in this place is the norm here, right? So are the freebies, which are really nice of these guys to offer. I'm guessing that this isn't earth though, so I can't exactly IM a location.

And maybe a history lesson, since I think I got the basics down, but I'm most likely missing a ton of things I need to know.

I'll tell you what I know, but it's not much.

They called us here to fight something, despite the fact that a bunch of the people they brought in aren't even fighters.

Not much is pretty much something I've come to expect, honestly.

She. And she holds court every few weeks or so. You can get in to see her then, probably.

Guess I'll just watch when everyone else approaches her. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who wants to meet her.

So I've heard. Normally, I would've expected being brought to another reality to be complete with something grimmer, but this isn't so bad so far.

I dunno about always, but they brought us here for some pretty grim reasons.

Kind of pointless otherwise not to, if they're expecting us to fight at all. That's like telling a person to fix something but not telling them what.

I think you're overestimating how smart these guys are.

Not really. They've got to have their reasons for keeping people in the dark, and I doubt it's a matter of intelligence. Whatever's making it worse, they probably don't have enough information on it, and they could also be suspecting us for-- whatever it is they're thinking of.

Well, the people in CHARGE don't. The public is a different story.

Well, they're not thrilled about us taking their resources. And they just don't like us in general.

Experience tells me that if someone doesn't like you for invading their space, it's either you give them a reason to like you or ignore them. Personally, since I'll be living here for a while, I'd rather get along with them.
